one of the greatest scenes in tv history. and all in 60 seconds.
Behind the Statistics
Well he’s done it...Sam Smith has just gained the number one spot in the charts with his new song, and James Bond theme, Writing’s on the Wall.
Not only has this landed Sam Smith another UK Number 1, it is also the first time a Bond theme song has achieved this.
The first Number 1?! Does this make Writing’s on the Wall the greatest EVER Bond song?
Truth.
Loving the 4NewsWall! Another demonstration of brands embracing Tumblr and GIFs, amongst other things, to target a younger audience
The Splat Is Coming....
Does this make it acceptable to start watching cartoons after work??
100% yes.
Loving this emoji campaign for Mcdonald’s French chain!
IS THIS THE BEGINNING OF THE END FOR NEW MOVIE STARS?!!
Today I saw a still of the new movie ‘Ant Man’, of Michael Douglas looking about 30 years younger, and it completely blew my mind. Apparently, it’s becoming super easy to reverse the effects of ageing using special effects, and this got me thinking about the implications for the future of the film industry.
Who doesn’t love a good felt-tip?
One graffiti artist pranked this McDonald’s emoji billboard and the laughs we are having is certainly a “good time”.
Oh dear Mcdonalds
The impact of footballer role models on young people.
Footballers have to be very careful when it comes to the example they are setting. They are people who spend their whole lives being watched by the world, whether directly or indirectly. They are idolised by many, most prominently those who are young.
This isn’t an article aimed at all footballers. Just the few who feel the need to embarrass themselves in the public eye. Many are an inspiration and positive role model, but a select few let themselves down and leave their reputations in tatters.
Loving this campaign!

Modern cinema - the decline of art
Looking back at classic films such as Alfred Hitchcock's Vertigo or Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey I realised how much film's have changed, and it's not a good change.
Questions for a Disnerd
Nothing provokes a more nostalgic feeling than watching the opening title of The Lion King or Toy Story, am I right? And what 7 year old child wouldn’t sell their soul for the chance to go to Disneyland?
I personally went on a family holiday to Disneyworld in Florida when I was 16, and even went to Disneyland Paris for my 21st birthday. I also watched Disney’s Maleficent for the first time the other day and thought it was amazing, and I bawl my eyes out everytime I watch ‘Up’.
Clearly, I’m a fan of Disney but I would like to describe my love as a normal, healthy, slightly emotional 25 year old, linked to nostalgia kind of love. I think we all know at least person (over the age of 12) however, that’s super obsessed with Disney. Like the kind that goes to Disneyland every year, has Disney memorabilia all over their houses and even gets tattoos of the characters.

We asked our year 10 work experience student, Nathan, to write about something he’s passionate in. It took him a whole 2 seconds to think about his chosen subject.
