Yes, it is - but it is not mine! It is from artist Richard Sawdon Smith, who did a series of tattoos on his body of the heart, arteries & veins, etc.

An Open letter to the C-Phile community, re: A-I and its use:

I've seen a lot of posts lately and a lot of re-blogs about the use of A-I in the C-Phile community, and how it's destroying it. Let me get this <crystal> clear: A-I isn't destroying it. The lack of appreciation for others posts IS. Example #1: When the vast majority of content is of thin, pale, smooth Caucasian boys under 25, PEOPLE WILL TURN TO A-I TO LOOK AT SOMETHING DIFFERENT. Example #2: When 75-80% of the posts are of guys between the ages of 18-25, PEOPLE WILL TURN TO A-I TO LOOK AT SOMETHING OLDER Example #3: When 95% of the posts are of the same type of guys, lacking any POC, etc. PEOPLE WILL TURN TO A-I TO LOOK AT SOMETHING WITH VARIETY & DIVERSITY. Example #4: When 70% of the posts are of resus, self-resus, whump, etc. PEOPLE WILL TURN TO A-I FOR SOMETHING THAT APPEALS TO THEM. Example #5: When somebody posts things that get little attention, shares or even comments - despite the work & effort put into them, they stop posting - AND TURN TO A-I TO GET THE SATISFACTION THEY ARE LOOKING FOR. Example #6: When somebody posts content which isn't appealing to others but is to them, such as bisexuality/pansexual posting, and it gets little attention, PEOPLE WILL TURN TO A-I TO CREATE & APPRECIATE IT. So if you're unhappy with the level of A-I being used in posts on Tumblr, or anywhere for that matter, perhaps you'd better look at the aggregate of the posts, and see WHY people are turning to A-I to create the things they want to see, to enjoy, and to discover. Not every part of this community suits everybody else, so stop trying to force it to fit those narrow-minded worlds.

It's 12 Lead Tuesday - Decided to check out my heart with the 12 lead ECG - and it's beating nice and strong - a stead 110 right now in the glorious heat of the day
