In 2015, the Afro-Mexican community we’re finally recognized by the Mexican government, but in the small villages of Costa Chica, Oaxaca, people are still struggling to regain their identity.
“Costa Chica” is a series of photos belonging to project that focuses on African identity, migration and diaspora in the Americas and Europe.
