IMPRISONED UMBRA IS NOW LIVE!

With art from me and fic from the amazing @atlassolid-prower and @forgotmynametag, we present Imprisoned Umbra as part of the @sonicsupernova 2025 project!

We're thrilled to release the project after months of work! I'm really proud of my own work here and I absolutely adore what the writing team has cooked up! I hope y'all enjoy it too! :D

Got stuck working but ITS HERE my annual bday drawing at the beginning of pride month bc theyre both the same day, my catchphrase 'coincidence? i think not'. I think younger me would be proud to know i finally made it out west, feels freeing in a way.

BUT. truthfully, more importantly, i only got one wish for this year and that is for eyes and actions right now for LIBERATION.

I want a FREE PALESTINE. A FREE CONGO. A FREE SUDAN. Those being but a few of many. While we enjoy pride month we must remember we are not free nor safe until we are ALL safe. Pride isn't pride without EVERYONE.

Environment practice for fun! Based around a set I've got in mind for the nanowrimo-not-nanowrimo story I've been writing

Old Dasheng piece - something about not knowing there was another all alone in the world just as he had been once

Old piece I did for a discord challenge! Wanted to pay a bit of homage to my learning through Dasheng/JTTW media. The background I modeled after the famous One Thousand Li of Rivers and Mountains painting and then I did a bunch of chronological studies of different jttw adaptations. In the end I had to cut down alot and mostly stuck with the adaptations I spent a lot of time watching and had a lot of fun piecing it all together!

Also since im tryna be active again lemme set my stance clear, FREE PALESTINE FOREVER! 🇵🇸🇵🇸 Don't ever let em think we're done. Every week every day every hour don't let the world forget innocents are being murdered en masse. NO business as usual & DONT let the words 'Free Palestine' fall out of trend. Palestinians deserve justice & their homeland. We keep going STRONG! Help in whatever way you can. We cannot give up hope on them, not for how much they've endured already.

Bit abstract of a drawing but sometimes i imagine what it must have been like getting locked inside Laozi’s Brazier of Eight Trigrams in Sun Wukong’s story— The Great Sage being able to cram himself into the compartment corresponding with the element of wind to avoid getting burned by the brazier’s fire and instead breathing in the powerful smoke for 49 days. Really makes the idea of his fury so much stronger after all those days holding out.

At that point your rage might as well become it’s own flame

1- Hmm I think I like my taste in music - I love all kinds of genres so it's real fun getting to discover so many diff kinds of sounds

2- I'm proud of how far my arts come! (I've only been drawing since the end of highschool so it's been one hell of a journey)

3- You know what I'll count funny. I think I fit that catagory

4- I like how I write! It's fun getting to express emotions through words (bit rusty but that's what it's all abt)

5- Tack on my learning skills! Right now I've been studying mandarin for nearly a year now and it's really exciting!
