I will shit on Lewis all day when I'm playing Stardew Valley. I will. Fucker doesn't properly fund the community center or do shit for it OR the fucking Bus Service, and yet builds himself a golden statue of HIMSELF that he hides behind his house.
He has a situationship with Marnie he is DESPERATE to hide due to his position as Mayor despITE THE FACT THAT NOBODY WOULD CARE. He's all up in his own ass for no fucking reason when he does the bare fucking minimum.
MEANWHILE my boy Theo, Raccoon Mayor of Grimshire changes his whole-ass biological sleep schedule in order to run his town. Yes, he likes finer things like cheeses and seems lazy on the surface.
But he DOES work hard. He DOES try deeply for the town. He DESPERATELY doesn't want any of the residents to die, even if it means accepting scorn and hate from the villagers as he bows his head to the demands of the Army and Pirates.
The villagers lament that they wish Percy was mayor and talk about how hard he works (and he does!! I love that little man!!) and look to him when things start going down because he is such a public face of the towns government-
But in the end, when things are at the most dire and even Percy is shaking and even he doesn't know what to do or say-
Theo steps up. He stops bowing his head and bares his teeth. He rallys his people, lays out a very good plan for the town to SURVIVE, and people listen.
That's my fucking Mayor. I love Mayor Theo. Lewis could fucking NEVER.
Where have I been? Well to put it simply....busy. Not with anything particularly important, I've just not been doing as much sims stuff the past week or so (I haven't opened my game for almost a week, apparently there's another update?)
I've been semi active over on the art sideblog if anyone wants to go look at that, just been drawing stuff! I've also been working on writing (not sims related) and playing more games.
I'll go through and see if there's anything to reblog on the resource blog at some point but if I've missed anything, feel free to tag it and I'll see that!

Sandwich Recolours - Base Game Hairs
Well that took WAY longer than I was expecting. Between health issues, family visiting and almost 2000 files to create and then messing up half of those and having to redo them... its been a journey and a half but it's finally done!

I'm going to put the historical painting project on indefinite hold. It was just too overwhelming for me and because it was so overwhelming I wasn't making any progress with it. I'll make a list of good historical portraits that fit the idea I had so you're not left without anything!
As for the sims that were submitted, I will find a use for them! Who knows maybe I'll enjoy making historical edits by practising with them.
Anyone down to test a couple mods? I had one ready to go today but then I realised it was conflicting with the other one I was working on (string table stuff) so I need to do more testing to make sure they're no longer conflicting.
I am still in need of testers if anyone is interested! You will need Cats and Dogs though! (MFPS is a bonus but not required)

Okay so I feel like I need to talk a little about the future of this blog re: the new age restrictions for the UK and Brazil.
So I'm based in the UK and if tumblr goes forth with this change, this may affect my ability to reblog certain posts, currently I can still see them but I won't (and you shouldn't either) give any site access to my personal ID. Those sites are notorious for leaks even if they say they delete everything.
So, what does this mean for you. Pretty simple, if tumblr goes through with this change, I won't be able to reblog any resources that tumblr's system flags as mature content (and it flags some weird stuff sometimes as NSFW). I apologise in advance as it's an annoying thing to have to deal with but there's not much I can do about it.
I've paused the queue for now as I feel like this is an important update. I'm also scheduling a reblog of this at a time that isn't the middle of the night for some parts of the world.

Making a super basic tuning mod
Some more stuff about sculpting in blender (not for sims 4 reasons, I just wanna make fun lil guys in blender)
Sims 4 Adventure Backpack
This was an idea that I got randomly while looking for camping build/buy items and, after an initial 8 hours, managed to get working. This took way more hours and many versions to make work exactly as I wanted.
Menus
There are four options when you click on the backpack. One is put in inventory, the other three are buy menus.
Camping Supplies - Has Beds/Sleeping Bags/Tents and some other miscellaneous camping things (like coolers, portable shower, Pet Stuff etc.)
Adventure Supplies - Has all the Jungle Adventure supplies, the Snowy Escape Supplies and some other stuff like Cameras, Drones, a tripod and even some Wellness and Aging Treats for your sims' favourite companions.
Vehicles - Has Bikes, Boats, Snow Boards and Skis
Known/Potential Issues
Clicking "purchase vehicle" causing a last exception. This was only reported by one tester but I wanted to make you aware of it anyway. Most people had no issues with it!
Files Explained
Overrides - Delete these if you don't own the packs they're from.
Tuning File - The main tuning file. You need this in order for them to function
Sims 3 and Sims 4 Backpack - The backpacks themselves!
Other Stuff
It can go in your sims inventory, either by clicking put in inventory or dragging it in there.
All the items come (for the most part) in their default swatch as I didn't want to clutter up the menus too much.
Possible Future Plans
These are not set in stone and are subject to change as time goes on!
Add categories within the purchase menus for sorting + add additional swatches of the items
Add the ability to put items in the backpack
Add the ability to name the backpack
DISCLAIMER: This is only my second time making a mod (and my first time with custom tuning. If you encounter any issues please let me know and I'll try my best to resolve them! Please back up your saves before installing in case its a little buggy!

Okay so the files are now back up and running. Had some minor issues that were supposed to be fixed.
Vehicles menu now properly shows the skis
Vehicles purchased in the Vehicle menu now correctly go into your sims inventory.
Please let me know if you encounter any bugs but I think I've got them all.
