“H-harriet, please.” Dusk sighed. At least Yoshi didn’t look as panicked as he did last time. “No mauling your brother.”
Dusk shook her head and gave a little chuckle at the family shenanigans. She couldn’t bring herself to stay mad, she didn’t get to experience this stuff as a kid. Heck, she thought it was just something in the movies.
“I’m sorry again about the burned waffles.” She apologized with a bow. “I do hope breakfast wasn’t too much trouble to finish without me.”
“ It wasn’t any trouble at all. I made a whole stack of them, so everyone can just dig it! “ Maria giggled, pointing to the set table. Between the four of them, they’d managed to set out a large amount of waffles, eggs, and fruit for the family to eat. Harriet had even given everyone colourful party napkins and surrounded their plates with very healthy looking candies.
“ I-I’m sorry. I’ve done nothing to contribute... “ Yoshi gently set Harriet down as the tiny terror took off to claim her seat. She wanted to be the head of the table. “ Everything looks amazing... “
