Formally Ask Plush Ponies

Once home to an ask blog for a group of plush ponies now just a place for me to share things that strike my interest.

Latest convention set up. So much different from what I ran in the past. The logo used in the table runner was drawn by gothicsiamese.

Made a shadowbox using smaller shadowboxes.

These are some thick cards. Over 22 cards used for each one. Zapdos used 35 cards.

Decided to put together something extra to give out on Halloween. Along with some candy I will be handing out custom packs of Pokemon cards. Each one is 100% holos. 10 cards each, 5 normal holos and 5 reverse holos.

Due to all the mystery bulk I've been buying off of Ebay over the past 2 years to make my card crafts I've got quiet the collection. Thought this would be a fun way to give back a bit. Managed to make 66 packs so far with my extras.

There is a good chance at least one parent or kid will walk away thinking I'm a scalper.

3D/Shadowbox card of Haru Urara

Had this one made a little over a week ago. Was going to share this and other Uma Musume 3D cards once I was finished with the rest of them. But with the recent new of her real life inspiration death earlier today I thought it would be best to post this as s tribute to the living embodiment of determination and positive outlook herself.

Needed a break from making things like 3D/Shadowbox cards and fans. Decided to try something I found months ago. There is a site with tons of pokemon you can make with paper.

Took a little trial and error but manged to find a way to make the pattern they give work with cards.

Options available are 3D/Shadowbox Card - $20.00* (Add a desk frame for display for $5.00) Custom Deck Box - $10.00* Custom Hand Fan - $25.00* *These are the base price for the commissions if I already have the cards to make them. If additional cards are needed to make the commission the price will increase by the cost of the card/s purchased plus $1.00 per additional card. All cards purchases will cleared with commissioner before hand.

Please note some cards don't work well in the 3D/Shadowbox style due to card art style or complexity.

Just a bunch of Yugioh Pins I have made with cards that either don't work well as or I just don't have enough of them to make 3D/Shadowbox cards.

They are cut out and layered like the the cards to give a nice 3D feel and look but only average to around 3 layers. Then they are coated in clear epoxy resin.

4 of the Fairy Tail Cards. I always loved the the way they used both the art and the card effects to make references to the stories they are based on.

Got my hands on some cheap One Piece cards to try my style of shadowbox on them. Kinda love how they turned out.

The card stock they used on these cards is so different from what Pokemon and Yugioh use. Almost looks, feels and cuts like foam board.

The only downside of them are the long thin borders, kinda annoying but not too much.

Been experimenting with creating different types of hats out of cards for a while now. The idea for this one came from a little brainstorming with another artist at a con I had a table at. Still not 100% happy with how the top turned out.

Made a whole bunch of Pokemon earrings. A good way to use some of the scrap that came from making the 3d shadowbox cards. Also good for those cards that don't really work well for making the shadowboxes.
