I'm not quite sure how you've managed to find your way to my blog, but if you're from Lima, then you may be well aware of who I am. If not, then let me simply introduce myself. My name is Quinn Fabray - former captain of the Cheerios of McKinley High School. So I typically disappeared from this blog right after I got my job and it took a lot of my free time away. Usually I’d be too exhausted to come on here, but I’ve got less hours to work now and I’ve missed writing a lot, especially portraying my Quinnie, but I kind of wanted to start fresh.

I’m moving Quinn onto a new blog right here. I’m not deleting this blog because I’m a big sentimental lil shit who likes to keep some memories around, so I’ll just be archiving this one. Time to create some more memories. Hope to be writing with some familiar faces again c:

“Oh my God, I think I’ve gone blind. Can you go blind because of a slushie?  My eye hurts a lot. I’m gonna have to wear an eye patch.”

“A regular slushie? I don’t think so. I’m fortunate to have been wearing sunglasses the first time I got slushied.” She gave a sympathetic smile, tugging on his arm lightly. “C’mon. Let’s get you cleaned up.”

Quinn had impeccable timing, and Rachel had truly never been more relieved to see her best friend than she did in that moment. She should have known Quinn would be here; girls night out was nearly always followed by celebratory brunch. Serendipitous might be too strong a word, but Quinn’s presence alone did wonder’s for Rachel’s anxiety.

Now she had to figure out how to explain this horribly awkward situation to Quinn without anyone else overhearing.

Rachel stood from her seat and met Quinn in the middle, then pulled her in for a hug almost immediately. “You need to come sit next to me,” she whispered, “and please don’t ask any questions about last night until we’re alone and I can explain everything.” It was a demand, not a request, but Rachel knew Quinn would comply either way. Call it women’s intuition, or the power of pleading. Girl code.

“Most of you know Quinn,” Rachel announced, complete with her trademark show-smile and a flourish of her hand. The longer she feigned ignorance to the absurdity of this situation, the better off they’d be. “She’s going to be joining us for the remainder of the meal.” Foregoing individual introductions was impolite, Rachel knew, but also necessary.

“Help yourself, Quinn, there’s plenty to go around.”

Rachel met her halfway and Quinn’s lips curved into a grin. “Oh!” The immediate hug caught her by surprise, but she wasted no time to wrap her arms around the small brunette nonetheless. Her mouth opened to greet her with words, but Rachel spoke before she could. The blonde shut her mouth as she furrowed her brows in bewilderment, nodding her head upon her friend’s shoulder.

Quinn wasn’t sure what happened with her last night since Rachel up and disappeared, but her night seemed to be much more interesting than hers. Once the hug had ended, she turned to face the company Rachel was with. She greeted them with a smile and a soft, “Hey,” along with a small wave. She took a seat beside the brunette and felt a blush along her cheeks when Rachel said to help herself to the food they ordered.

“If you’re sure, but don’t expect me not to help with the bill. I’d hate to be rude,” she smiled sheepishly at all of them. There was just something about not helping to pay for the food that didn’t feel right.

“Okay can you shut up and not make fun of me. Much appreciated.” Rolling her eyes before she began leading them towards the club. “Alright fair enough and I’ll make sure that doesn’t happen.” Maxine was just trying to be somewhat optimistic, she really needed this night to go well more than anything. As they entered the club she quickly led them towards the bar, of course glancing around the club to see if there were any ladies she would try to hit on later. She flagged down the bartender and ordered them a couple tequila shots. “You ready?”

A laugh leaves her lips. “Alright, no more making fun. For now.” Once they entered the club, her hazel eyes wandered. She took note of the bar and the few men sitting back as they watched the ladies on the dance floor; the dance floor, which was full of people who clearly had no boundaries, grinding up against each other; and the lounge area, already spotting a few couples making out while some others were just talking amongst themselves. “Oh no, you don’t have to worry about me,” Quinn responded to her, shaking her head. “I’ll be fine. You are the one I need to make sure nothing bad happens to.” She takes a seat on one of the bar stools. “If anyone you talk to doesn’t seem interesting enough, give me a sign and I’ll swoop in to save the day.” The bartender returned with two tequila shots, taking one and raising it up to Max to clink their glasses together. “Are you ready?”

Rachel was humiliated. There was no other way to describe this feeling other than absolutely, one-hundred percent, mortified.

One night stands were usually so far off her radar that she often forgot what they entailed, but Quinn invited her to a club the night before, one drink led to another, and next thing Rachel knew she was naked in bed with a total stranger.

A stranger whom, apparently, was close friends with Rachel’s college roommate and currently sitting across from her at Norma’s. Sipping her mimosa and engaging the man beside her in conversation could only work for a limited time, and Rachel was on the clock. Perhaps they hadn’t noticed her yet; couldn’t recognize her face in the light of day and without an alcohol induced haze. One could only hope.

Rachel politely nodded in thanks when the waiter brought her crepes to the table, then (in what she claimed would be a completely involuntary motion) looked up at the precise wrong time - they they were, staring right back with nothing but a look of pure recognition in their eyes. Perfect.

After paying the cab driver, she stepped out of the vehicle and closed the door behind her. A low groan escaped from her lips, reaching up to massage her forehead lightly. Quinn invited Rachel to a club the night before so that the two of them could catch up and have a girls’ night out. Why did she think she could handle a few more alcoholic drinks than usual? She wasn’t counting what drink she was on when she blacked out last night.

Waking up last night, she was fortunate to find herself fully clothed and not in someone else’s bed. Quinn couldn’t take another unexpected pregnancy, nor did she want to have to go through an awkward morning in bed with a stranger. However, when she realized she didn’t know what happened to the brunette, she cursed to herself and made sure to send a text to her to make sure she was okay.

Entering the restaurant, she was welcomed with the aroma of coffee and breakfast meals. She definitely needed some bacon after last night. Making a start towards the bar area to take a seat, a waiter passed her with a plate of crepes and she couldn’t help but eye them until they reached its consumer. She perked up, noticing the familiar figure.

Her hands stuffed in her coat’s pockets, Quinn made her way towards the brunette.

“Rachel!”
