Oh yeah with that last post, uh. I haven't really been present on Tumblr since the Tera Leak discourse, but a lot's happened since then. To make a long story short, there will be human x Pokémon content here, to whatever extent I do post on here.
Before you get your pearls clutched, I'd like to at least make my pitch. I see, and always have seen Pokémon as monsters; familiars, yokai, Digimon-esque, take your pick; and not base animals. Even for non-shipping reasons, it's just incompatible with my headcanons & generally just tasteless in my personal opinion. They're characters.
I think that the anime, above all other mediums, backs this up. Those of us who have been here a long time remember the jokes about Latias kissing Ash; we remember her actually kissing him in the movie. So at some point, to some extent, TPC okay'd this.
Also, Ash's Bayleef. His fuckin' Bayleef. That's a topic for a separate post that I can speak passionately about, and I might in the future.
I personally take a lot of care to portray those relationships as between two+ consenting parties with equal/relative intelligence. If I felt like it involved taking advantage of anyone, it'd ick me out, too.
Whether that's your yuck or yum is your business! Just take my art/headcanons in good faith, please. Or block and move on, w/e.
