I remembered your face analysis and I wanted you to see this. I don't know if it was this obvious from this angle in another photo but there's literally a deep hollow line under his cheekbones. It's crazy! So interesting.

Oooh this is so interesting!!! I wonder if it’s just by virtue of him smiling that his cheekbone looks that sharp. May need to do more research on this important topic. His cheekbone tends to be really prominent toward his ear and then gets softer in the middle but I don’t know how that changes as he smiles, more data needed

Hello!!! How are you? Is your post school life going well? I haven't seen you much lately so just want to check in!!!

Hiii! Yes I’m doing mostly well, thanks for asking!

Post school life is pretty good, it’s nice to start actually doing things I want to do and it’s nice to have a little money (student loans are a bitch). I wouldn’t say everything is amazing all the time now, it’s been a little tough some days. Sometimes I feel like I spent years working toward something and now that I’m done I don’t really know what to do with myself. Other days it feels like passing my big goal has just revealed how much I still have left to do and it’s a mountains beyond mountains situation. Sometimes I’m excited for the work and the possibilities that are ahead of me, but most of the time I’m just kind of exhausted by it all 🙃 but I’m taking it one day at a time and trying to stay focused, and it’s been mostly alright

I haven’t been around on here a ton because honestly this season just isn’t really it for me? It’s not as interesting to watch, even when there are overtakes it’s hard to understand what’s the driver, what’s the car, and what’s battery deployment stuff that we don’t really get to see, so it kinda takes some of the fun out of it. I don’t really feel like it’s magical the same way it’s been in years prior. It’ll probably come back! But yeah between that and the amount of cancellations I just haven’t been as invested as I was in years prior

I’m also just not writing as much or reading new fic because of the whole ai slop situation which…we don’t need to get into lol, but suffice to say it’s just kind of taken the fun out of it for me. I’ve been rereading old stuff from like 2022 for a bunch of old fandoms and that’s been fun, but I don’t really have the urge to interact with new stuff or our collective characterizations as they evolve because I just have no way to know if it was made genuinely or not

But!! I’m still here and I’m still always happy to chat!! I’m walking in hockey circles most of the time now and have had so so so much fun watching the playoffs and following new teams, it’s been a blast. I don’t really rpf it but I don’t feel the need to, and it’s been sort of freeing to have a sport I can just watch mindlessly and dig into stats with. So yeah tldr I’m fine and alive, and I’ll probably be back to motorsports eventually but for now I’m having fun doing other stuff!!

I know, it’s so tough. I’m kind of glad in a way that we had that scare at the end of last season, I’m not as heartbroken this time as last time. It makes sense he’d want to get out of this trash fire team frankly and that max would want to move on to other things, and at least we have a few years to wrap our heads around it

It’s gonna be a hard adjustment period once he’s gone. Always difficult to try to fall in love with a new team or a new driver to root for! Maybe this will open the way for a Ferrari championship or something but until that day comes my interest kind of comes and goes. I’m sorry but that Mercedes is just not interesting to me
