A South Dakota mining company has canceled a drilling project in the Black Hills after opposition from Native American tribes and local grou

Protests and lawsuits from Native American tribes and other local groups stopped a graphite mining operation in South Dakota that was going forward without appropriate environment review.

The mining project has now been cancelled with the company stating it "doesn't intend to file another plan for this project.".

Vultures are generally hated by humans. Seen bad omens and bringers of death, solitary doom bringers who take joy in all things unholy. But to them it is holy, they do not bring death but they use it to bring forth their own life. They are some of the biggest decomposers out there and they live together as well, they actually some of the most social animals, loving eachother deeply. And they don't restrict their love for their own. They have been known to form deep bonds with humans running up to their favorites and demanding pets, it's incredible to think that in this species of close minded bigots who demonize all they are not that they are still those who are willing to step into the dark with an open mind, where they find some of the greatest friends they'll ever know.
