For the Love of Fests Presents: Knotty November 2024

Welcome back to another year of Knotty November. Yes, it’s under new management, but hosted by the same lover of all things knotty!! With being hosted in For the Love of Fests, the rules will mostly be the same, but we are adding a few twists for this round to include some of our wider audience in the Discord and to encourage those that may just be a little uncomfortable with the wider world of Harry Potter lately.

We still want to encourage you to write, and more importantly, we want to read about ALL of the KNOTS!!! #EmbraceTheKnot!!!

Theme:

All of the Knots! You can interpret as you see fit. Whether that means a sexy werewolf with a growing knot, or maybe your MC discovers their love of shibari, it’s your choice. Any and all creatures/monsters are available to be used, or if you want to go the rope route, human characters are more than welcome also.

Time Frame:

Fest Opens: October 15th

Fic Due: November 12th 11:59 pm your time zone

Fics Release: November 15th (Full Moon)

# GLQ Present Back To Roots

Du to some changes in your admins lives, you may have noticed that this server was quiet for quite some time but we decided we wanted to come back and come back with a bang!

The theme for our first flash fest is **Back To Roots**. How you interpret this is up to you, whether you want to revisit one of our previous mini fests (April Showers, May Flowers, Under A Starry Sky or Crossovers), or you want to take advantage of this fest being held over September 1st and have your chosen characters return to Hogwarts, or you have a completely different idea!

Hey friends!!!

The admins over in For the Love of Fests have been working together to re-launch the group in a way that brings Fests back to you, the writer!

We know life has been busy and fandom has changed since the COVID years, and we are excited to bring back a space in fandom for Fests!

We also noticed an opening in the fest world that we're excited to bring to our discord group. If you're already a part of the discord, keep your open! If you're not part of it yet, come and join us!!
