There isn’t really much words I can say that have not been said, which I am thankful for, that means there is many voices for the Palestinian people and more growing day by day. I do understand better, I hope many more will too, of the inhumanity and brutality that has been inflicted on Palestine for over 75 years, that should never had happened
I am guilty of being skeptical of armed resistance, but it makes complete sense when you know all the tragedy and crimes committed against Palestinians. Armed resistance is debatable, but the oppression, and inhumanity inflicted against the Palestinians since Israel’s creation is not.
If anyone is viewing this post and is still afraid or skeptical to make noise, share posts, or worried because they have some family or friend ties with Israel. Please listen to a Palestinian, then listen to other Jews against Israel and Zionism. Please take the step to see that Israel was only made from great bloodshed, not only of Palestinians, but of Jews, humanitarians like Racheal Corrie and World Central Kitchens and many more over 100 years. None of these deaths were accidents or collateral damage, they were intended murders.
Palestinians say “from the river to the sea”, because Israel plans to decimate all the land from the river to the sea, just as the Americans did to the natives, now with missiles and drones. Palestinians are protecting that land and their culture from genocide. This is now, not the past
I was wrong in the beginning, believing the “it’s complicated.” There is nothing complicated about the brutality used against Palestinians both physically and systematically for far longer than just the recent 200 plus days.
I do wish I had more art, but I have a tiny human to care for, with little time to spear.
Proud of the youth and student pulling the line, leading the protests. I wish there was more I could give. But for now I am doing what I can.
