ik i'm supposed to be working on requests (and I AM, I PROMISE 🥹) but... would you guys be interested in a mini series (like maybe 7 to 10 chapters-ish) with a new oc? i have been watching so many clips of lando with natalie pinkham and goshhh they're so precious 🤎🤎

now imagine oc as natalie's eldest daughter — from a previous relationship — who has grown up around the F1 paddock when natalie became a pitlane reporter in 2011. she would go on to work as a videographer for mclaren in 2023, where the story begins.

for tropes i'm thinking 'pining heroine' (we need more rep of women who know exactly what they want 😍) with a side of 'quiet × chaotic'

i am tired of all these 'issues' randomly popping up in lando's car in EVERY session of this season. like— as much as the fandom likes to joke that teams are incompetent, they are really not. or, at least, they shouldn't be. 'cuz they've got some of the most talented mechanics and engineers working in motorsport.

so why, pray tell, does it seem like everyone — even the people who supposedly work on the car every day away from race weekends — also make the shocked pikachu face every time repetitive issues crop up?

i mean this in the most ignorant and petulant way possible: IF YOU'VE GOT PROBLEMS, FIX YOUR FUCKING CAR‼️
