I sit among the crowds alone, alone with thoughts that seem miles away, amidst the conversations I drift, my mind simply wanders and strays, my soul thirsts for solitude and word, to contemplate the lost, exploring mysteries divine, wanting to know what once was, to sit among the tress, and feel nature’s caress, to hear the ocean’s whisper, as her waves come to rest, and forever will I lose myself in thought, carried away with imagination and dream, for this is where I’m forever at home, this is where I’m truly free. ~ B.T.

This is the solitude, the hope my mind slips through as if desperate to escape the mundane conversations, the gossips, the criticisms in order to find solace among the tranquility of stars before sunlight, the frosted pinks at dawn, the chatterless slender limbs of trees clasping the final wisps of day. This is the silence that flutters in soundless words, paints time in enchanted silhouettes, and dares to dream.
