Better than having real cobwebs in your hair, right?
That's debatable, 'Melia! Real ones might be easier to get out than this stuff!

I think I have loads of those fake cob webs in my hair, though
*She loved his smile. It was one of those smiles that lit up the room and was contagious. Whenever he smiled, she automatically felt better no matter what mood she was in. Even now when she wasn’t even in a bad mood she felt a little better when she saw him smile at her.
When put his arm on the bench behind her, she scooted a bit closer hoping he wouldn’t move away at her approach. She likes being close to him. At his words a worried look came over her face.* Weird? What kind of weird? *She gave him a soft smile* I’m alright. Worn out like I usually am. *She shrugged*
[The butterflies in his stomach fluttered their wings more excitedly as Krystal scooted closer to him. He shrugged at her, glancing around the park as he tried to think of a coherent way to express just exactly how he felt "weird". He licked his lips before he spoke, each word pronounced slowly and with care as he mulled over what he was about to say.] I guess...it's like...I've been feeling sort of...split, lately? Like I don't quite understand everything like I thought I did, or something. It sounds stupid.
*She settles herself on the bench close to him and tries to hide the light blush that lit up her cheeks when he scooted closer to her. At his question, she sighed and nodded.* Sure have been, but I’m done for today - thank God. *She gave him a smile again and bumped his shoulder lightly.* How are you?
[He nodded, smiling at her as she spoke about college. He was struggling with college, not enjoying many of his classes as he had done before. He'd been doing extra music work, but on top of his jobs and his actual classes...well, it was difficult. It was the music that he loved the most, and he was seriously considering dropping out in order to focus more clearly on it.
He shrugged as she bumped him, moving an arm to lean against the bench behind her (it was almost like having his arm around her, except with less chance of her awkwardly scooting away).] I'm okay, I guess. A little...hm, I don't know. I guess I just feel sort of weird lately. [He laughed] What about you?
*Having just finished her last course for the day, she decided to take the scenic route home to her apartment. The weather was behaving today and just had a crisp feel to it and it was her favorite time of year; the leaves changed to very pretty colors and there was just something about it that she loved. Not to mention that Halloween had always been her favorite day and it was approaching fast now.
As approached one of the few benches that were on the path a small smile stretched across her lips recognizing the mess of brown curls immediately. She felt her heart give a small start at the sight of him and her stomach tightened as she approached him. She would never get used to that feeling. When she reached the bench she sat down next to him and gave him a smile.* Hey you.
[He turned his head to the side as he heard footsteps approaching him, his face breaking into a grin as he recognised the blonde. He scooted over so she could sit more comfortably beside him, shifting his body towards her.
He felt excitement swell up inside of his chest as it often did around Krystal. The prickling thoughts at the back of his mind quietened down, and he nodded his head 'hello' at her.] Hey yourself, Krys. Been to college?
[Taking a walk through the park, he sighs. He feels more comfortable amongst the trees, for some reason, they make him feel more at home. He thinks about the confusing dreams he's been having; not necessarily all bad dreams, but dreams that make him uncomfortable. Uncomfortable because they're too familiar. Uncomfortable because a growing, prickling thought at the back of his head is present after each one - what if they're not just dreams?
Calmly, he sits at a bench, leaning forward, his elbows propped up on his knees as he watches the people pass by and tries to form a somewhat logical explanation to the strange familiarity of his dreams.]
A New Song || Fox & Krystal
Krystal took a breath as she looked herself over in her mirror. Dressed in a light dress, her denim jacket and her boots, she deemed herself ready to go out with Fox. To go out with Fox… A smile spread across her lips at the thought. She had always hoped this day would come - even if she wasn’t in the best moods. She wouldn’t let thoughts of Brandon ruin this night though.
It was always Fox that cheered her up or made her feel better when she wasn’t having a good day and she had learned that he didn’t even need to do anything to do so. Just being around him made Krystal feel better. She couldn’t explain it, but she didn’t really want to.
At the sound of the three knocks on her door, Krystal quickly spun and grabbed her purse. “Be right there!” she called out as she went around her studio apartment looking for her phone. Now is not the time you damned thing! As soon as she thought it, she found her phone under a pillow on her couch. She threw it into her purse and then went to her door pulling it open. She smiled seeing Fox on the other side looking hansome as ever and let out a breath. “Hi.”
Fox grinned as Krystal opened the door, but his grin softened into a smile as he took in how beautiful Krystal looked. Sure, he always thought she looked beautiful, but this was something else entirely. Maybe it was the fact that he’d finally mustered up the courage to ask her out, and they were finally going to do something he’d wanted for so long, but she looked special.
He was glad that there was a smile on her face. There were butterflies in his own stomach, but they were more butterflies of excitement than nerves (okay, maybe a little bit of nerves). He wasn’t really worried that he’d be unable to cheer her up. It was something he was good at; they just clicked together, Krystal and him. He didn’t have to try; everything came naturally with her, the smiles and the laughs. He just hoped that the happiness she felt on their date tonight would carry over to the times when they weren’t together.
“Wow,” he breathed with a laugh, running a hand through his hair. “You look...you look really good. Really really good.” He looked at her for a moment more before catching himself and stepping back so she could step out of her apartment. “Ready to go?”
A New Song || Fox & Krystal
Fox could barely keep his smile from breaking into a grin as he prepared for his date with Krystal. It was something he’d wanted for a long time, and now, as he pulled a neat, black blazer on, he was positive it had been worth the wait. He reminded himself that Krystal was still sad, and he still had to work to cheer her up tonight. Still, she’d seemed almost as happy as he had at the idea of their date, which was quite a relief considering he’d asked her out in a rather clumsy and unsmooth manner.
Heading out the door, he grabbed his wallet and keys, humming to himself as he slid into his car. It was a little beat up, but it ran well (and so it should, considering the majority of his Family worked at Rob’s car shop), and he knew Krystal wouldn’t care what state it was in so long as it was clean and ran well. It was one of the many things Fox admired about Krystal; she didn’t care about appearances. She completely went against everyone’s expectations about her and her family; she was exciting. He was excited.
He pulled out his cell phone as he arrived at her place, intending on texting her, before he decided not to. Shoving his phone back into his pocket, he clambered out of his car, making his way up to her front door. After taking a moment to calm the butterflies in his stomach, he knocked quickly three times before taking a step back and waiting for Krystal to answer.
My first real weekend!
Nuh-uh! You’re never gonna beat me ever unless we bet on who’s a better boy or something!
Five dollars says I'd win that bet.
My first real weekend!
Only if you’r ready to lose again!
Not this time, Girl, you're going down!
My first real weekend!
I’m working but still!
Working with me, Little-Sis-Type-Person! We're gonna make more bets, right?
Hey,
…It’s 11:30 in the morning. You overslept. *grabs the book to examine it* Freud’s Psychoanalysis. Hmm, ironic. The psychology section is over there, and the history back here. Unless you were looking into your subconcious past, I’d say this doesn’t help you.
*flat* You’re adorable. Especially when you damage the covers with your slobber.
Have you tried actually focusing on your studies instead of trying to absorb them mentally? What’s the problem?
I prefer the term "under-awaked". [Furrows his brow at the book] I really don't remember picking that up. Knowing Freud, there is probably an explanation to this that is something to do with sex.
Don't sound too enthusiastic, Leon. [Rolls his eyes] Oh come on! Most of them have got those plastic thingy-majigs on anyway!
I was seeing if it worked like diffusion in biology, y'know? Down the concentration gradient of knowledge. [He shrugged] Nothing's the matter. I'm just having trouble sleeping, like always, and it's so cosy in here with all the loving workers like you, Leon [Grins]
*Krystal couldn’t help the soft giggle that bubbled out at his own laugh as she smiled back at him. At his suggestion though, she winced, but the smile never left her face* Don’t worry about that. I’ve had enough dinners at those top restaurants to make me want to never had another one again. I’d be happy with anything, Fox.
[Fox realised that his arms were still around Krystal. Any other time and he may have let go, his cheeks flushing, but today he was more confident. With a smile, he pulled her closer to him again.] I don't know...we could go see a movie. And then maybe get some ice cream and go for a walk?
*Her smile grew a bit and a happy tingle ran down her back as she nodded at him* Yes, I would like to go out with you tonight.
[Fox's smile broke quickly into a grin, and he left out a soft, happy laugh, glancing away from Krystal before looking back, attempting to hide the grin on his face. He didn't want to look too eager] Is there anywhere you'd like to go? I, uh, I don't exactly have time to book reservations at the top restaurants.
