(""divorce"" moment between Traveler and Leda,)
“Are you even listening to yourself, Leda? You’re proposing the release of the Dark Flow! It’s forbidden for a reason. It’s too much for anyone! Dancers, gods, HUMANS!”
“Being from Earth doesn’t make you special!”
“I am special. I am different! I’m the only one who has been able to see beyond what they ever could! They’re trapped in their little world, looking down on everything unknown, while having enough power to fix this whole disastrous universe!
No wonder so many people want Selios dead.”
“Are you going to blame me for that? They banished you from their kingdom! What do you gain by siding with them now?”
“Nothing. Unlike you, I no longer look for a personal benefit in everything I do.”
“I can’t believe I ever fell in love with someone so stupid.”
“In love? Is being with someone only because of their social status what you call love?”
“It matters. Who would lower themselves to be with someone so far beneath them?”
“We were together because I cared about you. Because I was happy by your side. I would have stayed with you even if they had ended up forbidding you from using magic.
But you were very cruel, Leda…”
“Where is the boy, Leda?”
“We both know someone as inferior as me could never have convinced you to stop all of this… So let me fix at least one thing. He doesn’t deserve to be caught up in this.”
“What makes you think he’s still here?”
“What? He was going to end up there sooner or later.”
“Oh, Selios… What have you done, Leda?”
“Don’t worry. You already saw that he’s a very clever boy. Always copying everything he sees…”
Heyyy guyuysss! Let me explain a little more about this!
To me Leda is not completely arrogant, but she does have a very strong belief that the world is divided into two kinds of people: those with power, who decide the future and opportunities of others, and those who are left at their mercy.
Before entering the Danceverses, Leda was a retired dancer. The Danceverses remind her a lot of the ballet world, where she also struggled because of her background. She did not come from a famous or prestigious family, so she had to rely only on her own practice and talent.
In the end, her ballet career failed because she lacked support, contacts, and influence. She moved on with her life, but that experience affected her deeply.
Because of this, Leda sees the Danceverses as a second chance. This time, she does not want to be the powerless one. She wants to become one of the people who make the decisions.
The problem is that, in many ways, she still treats everything like a game.
At first, she was completely fascinated by the Danceverses. Little by little, she started trying to gain advantages from others by using the fact that she was human. The gods were very curious about her, especially about how she interacted with Flow and magic.
Now, it is important to note that Leda and Traveler started out as friends and eventually became a couple.
HOWEVER, before that happened, Leda was also beginning to develop a relationship with Phea. Yes, drama 🗣️💥💥💥💥
One day, Phea mentioned that she had always wanted a child to care for. However, guardians cannot usually have children in a normal way.
Guardians are coaches who live to protect an assigned god or guard important places. Examples include The Guardian and Si’Ha Nova, or those who watch over the entrances to Melosia and Floworld, such as Phoenix and Phea Nox. (Yes, Phoenix is here )
Guardians can technically live ordinary mortal lives, but when they accept their role, they are granted immortality. Phea falls into this category. Any child of a guardian would be born mortal, and it would be very unlikely for that child to be granted immortality.
In my headcanon, even Wanderlust fits into this idea. Traveler was originally just a young man who independently rediscovered magic, and because of that, he was taken to Melosia and granted immortality. However, since Wanderlust is the chosen one, he will slowly stop aging over time.
Phea, however, does not really care about all of that. She would be willing to give up her position if it meant her child could live longer than her.
This is where Leda remembered Rapunzel and somehow ignored the whole “kidnapping children is bad” part.
Instead, she acted as if one day the child had simply “respawned” and gave him to Phea.
At first, only Leda knew the truth. That changed when Traveler discovered what had really happened.
Traveler found all of this deeply wrong. He could not accept the idea of a child being separated from his family just for someone else’s convenience.
Because of this, he began searching on his own for Jack’s place of origin. (As Leda wasn't going to help)
At this point, there was already a lot of tension between Traveler and Leda. Leda had also become more obsessed with gaining power. No matter what she did, she felt like she had once again become stuck in place, unable to move higher.
And then Cygnus appeared.
