This is a long story so I’m going to throw bits and pieces here and worry about organizing it later.

It started with a young Ridgeback. He had no name, and he barely had a face to the rest of the dragons in the large clan that he called home. The only ones who ever seemed to pay attention to him was his mother initially, and as he grew, the Plaguemother herself. But the rest of the dragons in this clan had lost all sight of the gods, and mocked him for his”ignorance.”

It was not long until this Ridgeback was trained for battle, and sold off for unbelievable riches. To his discovery, it was a Nature clan that had spent all that gold to have this dragon as a mercenary to do their bidding. It was here that he was given the title Redclaw, but this name only sparked his hatred for the clan. He was no savior to these dragons. He was destined to serve Plaguebringer. And now he was on the opposite end of his goal.

At last! I’ve now made one of each of the Flight Rising dragon breeds. Huzzah!

I’d say this also provides a good example of what each breed looks like when made of pipe cleaners. Hmm.

This is my good boy Emollire! He’s always been a fan of engineering as a child, enough so that he never had time to work on his pearl, so it’s kind of small and lumpy and pathetic looking. It’s small enough that he usually holds it in his mouth when he’s working like a gumball.

Being a wind dragon, his main focus was usually on the mechanics and linguistics of flight, and often worked alongside Rapacious’ blacksmith, Flagrare, to learn as much as he could about welding and fabrication. Together, they were working on an experiment in the forge when something went wrong and Emollire was caught in an explosion, which severely damaged his left wing. The idea of being grounded tore him apart but instead of allowing himself to fall into depression, Flagrare lifted him up and worked with him to create a mechanical prosthetic wing. It connects to his existing wing to mirror it’s movements perfectly. A more precise replacement is in the works but until then, Emollire isn’t very efficient at flying with his prosthetic. Gliding works without a hitch but changing direction and take-offs and landings are still messy.

People are complaining that people playing ToT don’t include items that they hoard on their wish list. But like, I don’t… hoard things? I think it’s pointless tbh? I just don’t see the appeal to it so like. ??

I don’t hoard things either. My friend has a few specific categories they hoard, and tbh it’s adorable! But I really don’t see the appeal myself. Whenever I see people complaining that others haven’t listed the items they hoard I’m like… but what if they don't hoard things??

The only stuff I keep in my vault is Swip stuff for trades I’m actively saving for, and old fest stuff that is valuable enough I wanna keep it safe. My main hoard I try to keep empty as possible.

But then ppl make me feel like an ass if I write “I don’t hoard things” anywhere on a wishlist.

Also, I feel like stating that OP meant “Shadow’s only breed” as in, Nocturnes are the only breed Shadowbinder created in the lore. You know, like how Lightweaver made both Imperials and Pearlcatchers, so they’re Light’s breeds, and Tidelord only made Guardians so they’re Water’s only breed.

Unless you believe that since Nocturne eggs hatch dragons of any element, then they aren’t Shadow’s breed at all. In which case, poor Shadow, we got a flightless breed in Bogsneaks before we got a Shadow breed.

Though, going by your logic, since unhatched elemental eggs can hatch Tundra, Guardians, Mirrors, and Fae of any element, then they aren’t Ice/Water/Plague/Arcane’s breed either.

So anyway there’s no such thing as a Flight Exclusive Breed.

…But imagine if there was!

Say you scavenged up an Unhatched Nature Egg and alongside the chance of hatching the plentifuls, you also had a chance (20% in this case) of hatching Nature’s Exclusive breed? And then said breed can only be bred in Nature lairs. Obviously, you could trade them to users in other flights but if you traded Nature-Exclusive to a Wind lair, it can’t be bred there. Because the conditions aren’t correct or some other lore reason.

Nest renting would be huge, egg prices would soar, the gen 1 market would have life again, and in general the dragons might be pricey to buy, especially from smaller flights.
