The eternal screams of the killing fields Fell lifeless, dead to the ears of man. The humans marched and refused to yield As they axed with glee their master plan. When all the fields were dead and barren And Gaia, prone, could not stop crying, The laughing people tipped old Charon, Ferry fare for the millions dying. And still today to endless plunder Stands a statue cut of sorrow's pain, A tribute to man's boundless blunders, Rapacious monsters of no restrain.

Hello! I know this isn't the right blog but I wasn't sure if the other was still active. It's been a while for Rapacious and with the world kind of goin to shit I don't think it's my place to ask if it's something you're interested in continuing 😅 I was was wondering if you wouldn't mind sharing any thoughts you had on that story? I still wonder if Itachi was going to become so big shot wolf too 🤔
Hope this wasn't a bother and that 2022 is treating you well! Thank you 💜
Oh. Oh, um... This is actually so embarrassing, I apologize for you feeling the need to send this ask and, woof, oh my God it really has been almost two years since I updated it, huh?
So... Long story short: I had a computer crash and the notes and things I had for Rapacious was on it, so between school and my original content, I haven't had the time to reassess and rewrite what little I can gleam of my plans for that fic.
Short story long: I haven't given up on continuing it. I just have other priorities that, not to say I feel like Rapacious is a waste of my time, but with one priority being linked to my future career and the other being linked to an upcoming contract, it does sometime fall to the wayside.
But, don't worry, I will continue it. I can't say an exact when, but it shouldn't be later than April.
The great white gaoler came from the icy continent to the south. Nobody had seen anything like him before. Tundras didnt like to hang out in the arid climate of the Plaguelands, maybe one or two in passing, but this dragon was much more intimidating, and much more furious.
It was Shadow that he was tracking, the shade-touched daughter of the clan's chieftains. But they were not ready to give her up to this behemoth so easily, no matter who sent him, god or not, however they were open to negotiation.
He had a trick up his sleeve. She was not fully engulfed by the shade yet, and so he offered his deal. He would attempt to cleanse her of this corruption by locking it away within her, but in return she would join him as his apprentice. He would need her help if he was to navigate the region safetly, and he would need to keep a close eye on her in case she ever lost control of the shade trapped within her. He agreed to visit, so the chief could still see his daughter, but she would never again be a permanent resident, following the snowy beast around Sorneith to wherever the shade called them. Luckily for them, they now had bait.
The need to avoid contempt and hatred
The prince should, as I have already suggested, determine to avoid anything which will make him hated and despised. So long as he does so, he will have done what he should and he will run no risk whatsoever if he is reproached for the other vices I mentioned. He will be hated above all if, as I said, he is rapacious and aggressive with regard to the property and the women of his subjects. He must refrain from these. As long as he does not rob the great majority of their property or their honour, they remain content. He then has to contend only with the ambition of a few, and that can be dealt with easily and in a variety of ways. He will be despised if he has a reputation for being fickle, frivolous, effeminate, cowardly, irresolute; a prince should avoid this like the plague and strive to demonstrate in his actions grandeur, courage, sobriety, strength. When settling disputes between his subjects, he should ensure that his judgment is irrevocable; and he should be so regarded that no one ever dreams of trying to deceive or trick him.
