deludedhope:
A peculiar question escaped rough lips; the gentleman clad in despair formed only a single sentence in reply to Komaeda’s musings, and that sentence in itself, being structured with a sensation of hostility, brought shivers to the male’s spine as she scanned his brain for a potential answer. Yes, it was already evident by this point, that the two of which were currently partaking in conversation would not be getting along, given the path of their conversation.
”Despair…?” He repeated, whilst his lips coiled downwards in a slightly annoyed pout. “No, despair is much less than hope! Hope will always override despair; I have lived my life up to this point because of my hope!” He mused, then smirked ever so slightly whilst parting his lips to continue. “But… without despair, we would not get to see hope live out its true potential! It is because of despair that hope can shine brightly.”
A backhanded response, one he dreaded to even pass by eardrum to eardrum. Such grace of expressions and wording that shined positivism of an idea one detested with his being was sickening. Disease; crippling of the body and mind, was one he adored. Indeed, their paths may cross and result in differences that shall pull each other apart. Poetic, is it not? How the two were in contrast with another speaking on a level of collection and humanity.
Irony it were, for he were the one subjected to dehumanization by the world. Even himself. Acceptance of the truth is the quickest way to despair. He who is the epitome of despair next to the Queen; a slave. A vile pest tamed and lashed out to hold authority and power. That, is his meaning. Twisted was his name.
"Your words have been chosen carefully," he hissed, continuing, "is this an attempt to see eye to eye?"
