Aloha!

Just got back from Maui. SO much better than I expected! Not saying that I didn't expect much, I just went in with low expectations...for reasons. It was amazing. Of course, everyone says that. But not just the place itself, my whole vacation was terrific. Best part? That's a toughie...the boyfriend was lovely and very affectionate and constantly made me piña coladas and Mai tai's... Maybe that was the best part. This has been an amazingly fun and slightly drunken filled summer that has definitely the best summer of my life so far. And this trip was just the cherry on top. :)

Day 10- Favourite Canon Pairing

Laura Roslin and Bill Adama | Space Parents | Battlestar Galactica

They were in love much longer than they were able to actually be together. They had responsibilities and they could not compromise them for love. There were so many moments that they shared, little flickers of love, and once Laura had given up much of her power and knew death was inevitable she could let go and be with the man she loved. I think Bill would have let it happen much sooner had Laura not had a level head and knew that it would affect her judgment. In the end Laura wanted to have the chance to do some of the things that made her happy before she died and being with Bill was an important part of that. The whole thing is so frakking painful, but they were together until the end (well Laura’s end and I’m guessing Bill stayed with her until his end as well) and it is just the most beautiful, loving, and painful relationship I have ever endured watching.
