 rodrigue   never   pushed   the   idea   of   marriage   purely   for   crests   and   bloodlines ,   at   least   not   for   felix .     glenn’s   marriage   was   arranged   when   ingrid   was   born ,   but   rodrigue   had   nothing   arranged   for   felix   when   he   was   born ,   and   didn’t   try   to   push   anything   after   glenn   died   either .     both   sylvain   and   ingrid   face   struggles   regarding   their   crests ,   house   status ,   etc ,   while   felix   doesn’t   mention   anything .   felix   wasn’t   pressured   by   his   father   in   the   same   way   the   others   were .

          ‘     it’s   an   impressive   technique .     i   hadn’t   seen   it   before .     ’     with   his   last   strike   felix   lowers   his   weapon ,   turning   to   meet   beresu .     she   hadn’t   gone   unnoticed   as   he   trained ,   and   he   took   her   audience   as   a   chance   to   demonstrate   how   closely   he   had   watched .     but   his   execution   was   off ,   lacking   the   grace   and   fluidity   he   had   seen   in   her   —   he   wants   to   see   it   again .     her   challenge   is   met   with   eagerness   as   he   resumes   his   stance .
