Soooo.. it seems I took an unintentional hiatus from tumblr and neglected this poor blog. BUT! I recently finished up a Motivarti mentorship with Bobby Pontillas(!) so now’s as good a time as any to sidle back in with an update! It’s been incredible and such a privilege being able to work with Bobby - with his help I’ve been exploring some of the characters from Northern Lights. This is some of the exploration/final designs for Lyra, Pan, Lord Asriel, Mrs. Coulter et al. There’s so much more of the book to explore too, so watch this space!
