starting my Behance Art Portfolio with my Bioluminescent mushroom conservation mural in the Atlantic Rainforest, Brazil.
I painted this mural in the Atlantic Rainforest, Brazil for the IPBio Reserve Betary to raise awareness of the bioluminescent mushrooms found here. IPBIO is a NGO Non-profit, an advanced UNESCO outpost of the Atlantic forest biosphere, researching and conserving the last remaining 7% of this biodiversity hotspot. Little sister to the Amazon, the Atlantic rainforest originally stretched from Rio di Janeiro, through Sao Paolo and further down the east coast. Although only a fraction remains, new species are being discovered every year, with over 200 birds, 250 mammals and 20 monkeys that don't exist anywhere else in the world!
