Genre: lil fluff, lil angst
A/N: this is my first time posting any actual writing, please be kind. Translating this led me to some fun and frustration aka me using five different words with the only translation beeing “mind”. #Deutsch die Sprache der Dichter und Denker
From the moment they met, there has been love between Sebastian and Ominis. Their love was deep, calm. It came natural. It became unimaginable, physically impossible even for it not to be existent.
Their love began with trust.
From the very beginning Ominis had found someone in Seb, who really saw him. Not as a Gaunt, or a blind boy, but the person he truly was or at least wanted to be.
Sebastian, impulsive, determined and driven by deeper demons found an anker in Ominis. The only one able to calm the storm burried in his very beeing, with his gentle yet threatening resolve. The reality check he needs when he is about to lose it, or lose himself.
It was an Intimicy in no need of words. Shared silence, not awkward, but full of warmth. The sole company of the other enough to fill the bottomless emptiness eating away at their souls.
The invisible gestures of care. Innocent and pure, sincere, genuine.
Ominis catches every nuance in Sebastian’s voice. Sebastian knows exactly how to hold Ominis‘ hand, not in pity and control, but in Connection and quiet reassurance.
Their love might be painful at times, often obsessive, but always inevitable. The bond they shared wasn’t mere platonic kindship, or romantic lust. It was existential.
The almost frantic need to be close and hold on tight. To just cling to each other, clasp each other’s shoulders and never let go.
No matter who would step in or out of their lives, no one would ever know them the way they did. The sorts of kindred spirits that would always be drawn to and unable not to find the other in each and every universe. Utterly devoted, devoid of better judgment and devastatingly disastrous.
The only love that would ever truly be unconditional.
They saved each other. From their families, from the loneliness, from themselves even. They still did. Every second of every hour of every day they saved each other merely by existing together.
