🌙 About them: Ominis and Lorrain's connection transcends time—bound by a soul pact that entwines their fates across all existences and lifetimes. Lorrain was summoned in a moonlit ritual performed by an entity whose name has been lost—or deliberately hidden; shaped from a fragment the Moon casted aside. She isn’t divine—she’s human, carrying only the small streak of defiance she was born from.

The Tears (Lorrain's rings) / Her wand

🌙 She possesses a fire-like magic essence, not related to the ancient magic shown in the game (unlike Melione Fallin). Lorra's magic scorches her fingertips over time in human form, but when channeled through her rings—known as The Tears—it flows with perfect control. Though she carries a wand as required at school, she rarely uses it— her notoriously and painfully poor aim makes her fingerwork with The Tears far more reliable for enchantments.

🌙 The soul pact: While blood pacts manifest as vials, soul pacts crystallize into enchanted gems that embody the pledged souls' covenant (Oms and Lorra's gem can be seen within her wand). Soul pacts weave connections that neither time nor distance can understand, eternally binding two beings. Unlike ordinary magical contracts, these sacred bonds cannot be dissolved unilaterally—both parties must consent to release one another.

Tag Game : What was your MC’s first interaction with their love interest?

Thank you @libellule-ao3 for the Tag! Evelyne and her Ominis have a special place in my heart - (Read her fic! it's so F good!)

In my case it was thru dancing. The first ever thought I had of both of them was thru dance!

Here are little fragments of the chapter from my fic when it happened:

"Why would anyone want to dance with a blind man, anyway? He thought to himself, feeling a twinge of bitterness. He hadn’t had any intentions on inviting anyone, he’d prefer to lose points rather than putting himself on the spot of rejection – instead, he simply waited for the demonstration to be over so he could return to his daydreams in peace. The music swelled around him, filling him with both nostalgia and longing for something more than just this boring lesson."

Finally, a soft female voice floated through the air in front of him. "Hello," she said, introducing herself as Lorra."I believe you're my partner for today's practice?" Her tone was friendly and inviting.

Ominis shifted slightly, his posture tense and guarded.

"That is correct... I’m Ominis, Ominis Gaunt." he mumbled softly, a hint of superiority in his tone. It was no surprise, considering his wealthy background and upbringing. Extending his free hand, Ominis waited for the girl to take it. As she did, he drew her closer to him and wrapped his arm around her waist. His hand effortlessly found its place on her small frame, tracing the delicate curves of her feminine figure. She responded by placing her arm on his shoulder, falling into a perfect ballroom posture without hesitation. A small smile tugged at the corners of his lips as they moved together in perfect synchronization, as if they had been dancing partners for years instead of mere strangers meeting for the first time.

Despite having the feeling that his partner was already an experienced dancer, Ominis couldn't resist explaining the steps for the footwork. He led her through each move with gentle guidance, reveling in the way she caught on quickly and stumbled only a few times, always quick to apologize and laugh at her own clumsiness.

"You can let go of my hand now," she whispered softly, breaking the comfortable silence between them.

"Oh...sorry…I didn't hear the music stop," Ominis quickly lied, his voice betraying him with a hint of shyness. Of course he heard the music stop. He released her hand, feeling an odd emptiness where it once was. It was almost ticklish, as if her touch had left behind a lingering sensation on his skin.

“Thank you for dancing with me,” Lorrain said gratefully to him as she walked away, leaving Ominis standing alone with flaming red ears and cheeks.

“My...pleasure...”

Life has thrown my happiness into the abyss, and has left me with no signage to where a safe harbor could accept my damaged soul. No compass points to sanctuary for one so fractured.

Indifference is my lullaby, apathy my night sky, and anxiety my oxygen as I bleed through spaces.

All that truth is a lie when she sees me. I transmute into an insect that venerates her essence like the sun.

I will travel far beyond any path of reason to be seen by her again.

Too late, I dared to surrendered to her touch, she blessed me with a kiss and called me “Oms”.

I feel loved.

I recently found your comic and WHY TF DOES OMIMIS HAVE A TALKING WAND?! It's genius!!! It's giving Mushu's attitude. At first I thought it was Ominis's own thoughts but the more I read the comid the more I understood it was its won persona!

Hello Anon! HAHAHAH OMG YES!! Thank you sm for noticing it! I love love love the idea of it being more unhinged than its master 😏 to be honest it's probably more of MY own thoughts 🥴 so in conclusion, Ominis' wand is my own self insert 🤣 BUT! it's also helpful for the narrative.

Hi! I'm really interested in Lorrain and Ominis - the lore sounds fascinating. I saw you have a masterlist, but I'm not sure where to start and if there's a recommended order to your works. What would you suggest? Thanks!

Hi Sunny my beloved! 🖤 Thank you for being interested in my hummingbirds! 🥀 So, basically you could start anywhere, since each lifetime has a different lore yet same characters - same powers. Their "main one", so to speak, is their lifetime #15 (the one colored in purple on my masterlist!) the order you could follow for this one is:

1.- The fic "Looking thru my eyes" 2.- The comic "After the New Year's Incident" 3.- The comic "Behind these walls"

👉In this last comic I'll recap their story within the chapters, but it might take a while cause I can't draw that fast 😪

👉For the other fics, such as "In another life" & "What we made of monsters" & oneshots they each follow a different lifetime! Unless they have the same color on my masterlist, then they belong to the same one!

👉"Looking thru my eyes" is still on going, with only a few more chapters left! Yet this doesn't affect the continuity of the comics 😊

Lorra does get very much excited about Valentine's Day! She get's super cheesy, melosa (meaning like, a schmaltzy attitude, I think you'd call it that?) but only in private. Altho she very much likes PDA when Oms is the one that initiates it (just holding hands and a very discrete brush of knees--- cause let's be honest, Ominis is very reserved too lol)

I'm sure she'd get very much excited to see Ominis! This girl lives for her partner, I'm not gonna lie. Then she'd probably make him help her give out the little gifts she's made for all the house elves 💜 (obviously hugging her friends and shalalala but mainly those two things hehe)

She'd tell you she's a giver, and that she doesn't really expect to receive anything, BUUUUT I know in the bottom of her heart she does... a little bit. She appreciates her people (Ominis, Sebastian, her friends, Matilda Weasley, etc) very much and deeply; and you know, it's always nice to receive something from someone you love and appreciate 💜 So, answering your question, Imma say 50/50!
