Publisher and Developer touchstones
Given the scope of the game and the budgetary concerns, I’ve developed a list of developer and publishers that might be interested in the game.
Remedy entertainment: Control is an incredible game, mixing the esoteric and the scientific with a fantastic hub and spoke design. Definitely a contender.

Naughty Dog: with a focus on balancing a well-paced unfolding narrative with engaging mechanics I could see them being interested. Would limit to a PS exclusive, however, which might impact on their decision to acquire the title given its high budget.

The Chinese Room: A left-field choice given the size of their operation, but their focus on adventure-style map exploration would be incredibly useful to Chaos.

2k have a long history of publishing immersive narrative entertainment with great combat mechanics, including one of my favourite series’, Bioshock.
Bethesda Softworks: As well as their substantial RPG offerings they publish engaging spatial map games, some with a focus on narrative, like Prey and the Dishonored series, as well as others with a focus on mechanics, like Doom. A contender.

Ubisoft: somewhat obvious, somewhat left-field.Their output isn’t that focused on this kind of game, but my god do they have the money to pull it off. A hard sell, but worth a shot.
