ā¦now that I think about it, I now understand what is the main thing that attract me to a ship.
Itās not really about their appearance or characters. Hell, one of my ships from Persona (Akechi/Akira) is vastly different to BSD (Dazai/Atsushi). Akechi/Akira is almost on a verge of toxic and there are only few fanfics that can mixed the way they clashed with each other while also grow with each other. Dazai/Atsushi is milder and easier to write fluffs without being too OOC since both trust each other.
It is their dynamic that I love.
I love it when the relationship started off so unequal too each other. Character A can be a mentor/leader/older/stronger/perfect like figure while character B is student/subordinate/weaker/younger/filled with flaws like figure. I love it when character B learns or even be envious of the character A. I love it when character B grows under the tutelage of character A or just because from spite. I love it when character A was surprised at the growth of character B. I ESPECIALLY love it when character B managed to stand by character Aās side as their equal eventually and character A started to depend and trust them more. I FREAKING love it when the supposed to be āperfectā character A breaks down or showed a vulnerable side that no one else but character B saw due to the trust they had both culminated in their journey together. THAT IS MY JAM. MY BREAD. MY BUTTER.
A lot or most of my ships are revolved around this kind of dynamic. Each ship has their own way with dynamic, not quite the same but similar with each other that always left me breathless and sobbing from emotions. I am attracted to that struggle for both of them to become equal and to trust. When in the end they managed to do that, it feels so satisfying that Iām left in a puddle of happiness goo.
I do love other dynamics than this one, but I think otps with this kind of dynamic tends to be my otp or stay longer in my heart than others.

Yule boasting is an old Norse tradition of getting shitfaced at the winter solstice feast and standing up to proclaim all the great, infamous, and wildly improbable deeds you will perform in the coming year. can range from an unlikely but technically possible claim, like "I'm going to rob 300 banks", to something you'd have to bend the laws of the universe to actually accomplish, like "I'm going to punch a god in the dick and steal his horse". these are not plans. they're not even goals. they're the things you'd do in a self-insert superhero fanfic. and honestly all I want this holiday season is for a bunch of friends to go all in on this nonsense with me and hype ourselves up in ways previously unimaginable
I'm so excited that you're writing Code Geass fic! May I ask what your current project is about?
Oooh I got a few. I got four I definitely want to get done first though.
First up is Loving The Damned which is a deliberateĀ āfragmentā aka clip show of what might have been a greater fic but I have no inspiration for the whole of it so Iāll just do the scenes I want to do.
The basic premise is that Shirley doesnāt die, instead successfully defusing Rolo, and thus that changes things. And then foursome happens. This one is the easiest for me to write simply cause Iām focusing on just theĀ āimportant scenesā so this one likely will be posted first!
Second would be Icarusās Dilemma which is the BIGGEST of my fic plans. Itās a rewrite of Code Geass canon tackling theĀ āwhat if Lelouch and Suzaku were working together at the startā premise. But in a different way: Lelouch ends up, through a series of coincidences, working at the ASEEC before things kick off and remains there working with Lloyd, Cecile, and Suzaku with the Lancelot.
Meanwhile, to keep things mostly on track and close to canon (and keep Lelouch and Suzaku from just conquering the world by New Yearās) there is a new, original rebel leader calledĀ āPrometheusā who pops up to challenge the two of them. Thus this one will take a lot of time. Iām looking at spending 26 chapters alone on covering the R1 part of things! And there are three arcs plus a Prelude!
Third on the list would be Spark of Life. This is one of my earlier ideas, but itās looking to clock out at about 15 chapters and the concept behind it I like. First up is fem!Lelouch post Zero Requiem, Code Geass thing (has both Code and Geass) and not happy about being alive. Until it turns out sheās pregnantā¦now sheās got a reason to live but the main plot is actually what happens when ill luck leads her back to the spotlight and it becomes a scramble to avoid the worst happening as the world still hates the Demon Empress.
Fourth, but certainly not least, is another fem!Lelouch thing. I originally conceived it with just plain Lelouch but while thinking on it, I was able to come up with a lot more ideas, have more fun, and generally work the story better with a fem!Lelouch. Itās called Sunny Days And Stormy Skies.
Premise? Due to some changes and a bit of luck, Gino is there in Shinjuku. This ends up leading fem!Lelouch back as a princess, completely changing the plot, and sets up for a fun love triangle between Suzaku and Gino over Lelouch. Itās the second longest idea, as I realized I can avoid a time skip of any kind here unlike in Icarusās Dilemma so I can basically have things resolved within a single year in-universe.
Thatās just four of my ideas. I have WAAAY more but those are the ones Iām currently looking at writing.
Haruhi fujioka really is the character ever. Going by any pronouns in 2006. Big beautiful brown eyes like a baby cow. Constant deadpan delivery. Getting bitches constantly. Reacts to romantic advances with a thousand-yard goldfish stare. Perfect flawless protagonist 10/10
dan heng is actually the funniest star rail character. in his past life he committed the Number One Crime. he's been locked up since birth to atone for crimes he cant even remember. his past lifes husband is chasing him throughout the galaxy. he learns the love of his life is alive but utterly unrecognizable and the same person as his worst enemy in the span of one minute. hes a fugitive for shit he didnt even do and has been on the run his entire life.
and the way he decided to cope with all this is collecting encyclopedias and being The Most Normal Guy Ever
