Lola had spent many years around people alike her and not but she couldn’t say she had known many werewolves. Then again she didn’t get out much. “Yeah, this isn’t really my thing but it’s a nice change I think. Do you frequent these things often?”

“I’ll fill you in another time.” Lola knew she overwhelmed her self pretty quickly at times and she had to get out more, there was a lot more to life than working and late night marathons of law and order. “I’m working on it, promise.”

Iliya took a seat and passed the drink over to the stranger, grinning brightly as she raised her voice to be heard over the music. “Some kind of alcoholic slushie, I’m assuming.” She started to dance along to the beat in her chair, sipping every so often from her drink. She noticed the scent of the woman, perhaps that was the reason she approached her. Nope, definitely not human.

Lola took one look at the drink and figured, how bad could it be? She wasn't much for alcohol other than the basics of beer or a slightly too expensive wine here and there but it couldn't be so bad and the girl sat next to her seemed nice enough. "You're having a good time, I assume?" The blonde raised her brows in question as she took a sip from the drink in hand, shrugging her shoulders in content with it. She needed to blend in better but unfortunately she struggled doing so a little too introverted for bars and parties.

It was just another long night back in the station, Ashford could take all of his work back home but he’d be alone there. Just as he was here, but there was something about his own apartment that haunted him. Not in the exact haunting manner but there was just something wrong there. Just as it was with the rest of the town. The main didn’t even know why he was giving too much to it, the entire place, town, houses were fucked up.

His trail of thoughts were interrupted the moment the power went out. Though it wasn’t something that happened often, it was something that usually did happened in this old place. Ashford wouldn’t worry because the emergency lights would be on any minute. Problem was, that they weren’t. It was then that the cop got slightly worried. That for sure had never happened before. Ashford wasted no time in getting his flashback and standing up to see what was going on. It was then when the man realized he was all alone in the station. It was odd but nothing something that would cause him to be afraid.

He was quick to return back to his office only for him to notice in his way back that he was not completely alone. Only then noticing Dolores there, had she been in here the whole time? The question burned at the back of his mind yet didn’t voiced it. “ What are you still doing here? It’s late. ” As a matter of fact came his comment and if she said anything, Ashford didn’t realized it. Because then just at the far back to their left, the cop noticed something. “ Did you see that? – - I think I saw something move. ”

Dolores spent most of her most of her working hours in the dead of night, staying long hours that many may not have willingly taken but with the sun as her enemy there wasn't much of a choice given. In fact she was sure most of her nights were spending the witching hours inside of a police station than out socializing or planted firmly on her couch watching tv to pass the time. Besides it wasn't too bad, the quiet helped her concentrate and ignore many distractions she'd experience while the place was flooded with people.

She was far too consumed by the papers in front of her that it took her a moment to notice the lights had gone out and there was an unsettling lack of the gleaming red that should've appeared in it's place. It should turn back on soon enough or at least she thought it would and only continued to use the light of her phone to read, not particularly phased. Her eyes fell upon him once she noticed the light from his flash light illuminating the hallway and room around her much better than the little one on her phone could. "I'm almost always here late," The blonde shrugged off not bothering to ask the same of him. She was sure if he was at work so late at night or she supposed almost the morning now he had his reasons. "I thought we were the only ones here. Everyone else left hours ago?"

“Guy at the bar bought me two drinks, you want in?” The truth was that the man had bought himself and her a drink, but she’d taken both under the premise that she was to meet a friend. “I can drink both, if ya want but just let me sit next to you.”

She was hesitant to speak up unsure if she wanted alcohol as well but the blonde contemplated it. "I don't know, what is it?" Dolores asked referring to the brightly colored drinks in hand. "You're welcome to do that too, I’m not much of a drinker."

She didn't know if spooked was the word but she'd take it better that than many alternatives. With a somewhat forced smile the blonde nodded in response, "Yeah, I'm fine.. just distracted."

This simply wasn't Lola's thing. She was friendly and ever, had nothing personally against socializing but drinking out in public? It felt wrong. Especially since she was grasping that closed cup a little too tight to her, fearful of the literal bloody mary inside spilling out or someone realizing something was off. How was it that she was nearing two hundred and still hated what she had to do to survive with every fiber of her being, so consumed by her distracting thoughts that she hadn't even caught what the other had said. "Sorry, would you mind repeating that?"

“So tell me, where’s the best place to get a beer in a place like this?” Price leaned over, a little more forward than most would be. They hated the awkward phases of learning towns and trying to find friends, so they preferred to skip over it altogether. “Cause I gotta keep this drinking habit up somehow.” They chuckled with a shrug.

Lola would love to say she was a little more well versed in social norm but even after almost two hundred years it still wasn't something she fully got the hang of. Alcohol, for the most part was the same, but given that she only worked at night bars were not often her thing without the night off. "I think it's kind of universal, most of the bars are pretty good."

It’s great just to be home, and see my family, and my high school friends and things like that. It was really nice. I think too, when your show is set in New York and you’re also shooting in New York, it’s like half invigorating and half frustrating to live in New York City. So it’s nice that when I get yelled at by someone on the way to work I can walk in and be like “Oh yeah, Karen would probably get yelled at most days.
