this blog is a satire blog, so posts from here should not be taken as fact. posts also do not reflect the personal beliefs of the blog's owner.

this blog is without syscourse stance, but hateful asks will not be accepted. rules for what IS allowed can be found below:

Submissions that are hateful or contain genuine misinformation will not be posted.

This blog claimed the URL after the 24hr cooldown, which was used intentionally as a way to make sure users from all timezones were able to see the final post from this blog. Any other blogs claiming the concept are spoof blogs who quintessentially cheated at good fun. This isn't meant to discourage interacting with them- just to be clear about the intentions behind making the URL available and who claimed it correctly.

I have a confession...

This blog is a sideblog. My main blog has been shadowbanned for promoting fundraisers (shame on Tumblr, honestly), which has rendered this blog somewhat unusable as well. That being said, though, I haven't been participating in syscourse at the level I used to, and so the desire to run this blog has steadily dwindled down.

Now, I don't want freezingcoldsystemtakes to disappear. It's been called iconic, and people have named it as their favorite syscourse blog more than once. I can't take any of the credit for that- the jokes all come from you guys!! However, I can't give anyone the login to it because it's a sideblog. I also don't want there to be any sort of selection process for who takes it over- anyone with the wherewithal to queue 2-3 asks a day can run an askblog. So, what's going to happen?

My current queue only has 10 or so asks left in it. Once the queue is empty (set to 2 posts daily, so should be about 5 days from now), I'm going to change this blog's name to freezingcoldsystemtakes-archived and post the banner and pfp. Whoever claims the URL first can have the concept. You don't have to keep the banner and pfp, but they'll be there for free use! I would encourage you to keep the rules as they are, they've kept my askbox hate-free for the most part, but once I archive this blog, it's out of my hands.

If you have any posts you submitted that aren't posted once my queue is at 0, I would highly recommend sending them to whoever creates the new blog! I'm sure that out of nearly 400 of you who follow me, someone will be happy to take up the post.

I am very sorry that this came so suddenly- I'm dealing with a lot outside of tumblr and getting shadowbanned on my main pretty much killed my motivation to participate in syscourse at any level. I wish you all well!!
