Lauala - Daughter of a mortal woman and a tree spirit. She can communicate with plants, which, over the course of some years, has given her a reputation as an excellent gardener - even the nobles atop the Spire hire her. In her tribe she is beloved and highly respected for her skills, but even so, humans look down on her and treat her "no better than a wild weed", in her words.

You follow it, until - finally - it leads you out of the forest and into a glorious sunset and for a moment you behold the creature that saved you. A heartbeat, a flap of wings and a gust of air in your face, and they are gone. You're safe now. Try not to get lost again, my dear traveler.
