Very Silly Concept: a show called "Accessibility Nightmares" but it's structured exactly like Kitchen Nightmares. An accessibility specialist goes to different establishments and helps them make their businesses more accessible.
The accessibility specialist asks why the door at the top of the small set of stairs has a wheelchair symbol on it. The owner replies that's the accessible bathroom. The camera zooms in on the specialist as they process this information.
A customer with a service dog comes in to a restaurant. The hostess tells them they don't allow dogs. The accessibly specialist looks over at the hostess like
And there are web accessibility episodes too. The accessibility specialist stares at the white text on the light pink background of the home page like
The specialist asks why not a single product picture has alt text, and the business owner says "Well I mean, it's makeup, why would a blind person be shopping for makeup?" The specialist just
The specialist asks the web designer how a screen reader user is supposed to complete the captcha portion of the password reset process when there is no audio alternative. The designer admits they don't know.
#this post has 10k notes to me
When you left this tag three days ago, I thought "that's so sweet, but no. No way this concept is even close to that popular."
Lesbianism is a spectrum...
On one side is Shauna Shipman copying Jackie when she's alive, cheating with her boyfriend, wearing her clothes & doing everything to emulate her only to then physically consume her when she's dead because it is the only way in which she can actually have a part of Jackie still with her. She desires so much to be with Jackie that she literally wants them to be one being, one body. Her cannibalism is a coping mechanism for survival as much as it is a rejection of traditional human societal standards.
On the other side is Carol Sturka, who literally spends multiple episodes protecting, preserving, burying and defending the grave of her wife Helen. All within a world that now determines cannibalism as a logical, normalized practice and Carol as emotionally illogical for refusing the Hive mind which practices it and their so-called 'universal love'. Her refusal to let Helen be eaten and her refusal to join the Hive even though they are the last piece of Helen's mind that exists is because that would be a rejection of her and Helen's individual human decision to love each other outside of what humanity deems to be 'normal' or 'logical'.
'Cannibalism and lesbians' really is a crazy trope... anyways watch Pluribus guys.

reading this deposition that just got dropped where someone sued musk and ohhhh my god it is this funniest thing ever . i can see why his lawyer tried to keep this confidential . they’re both maybe the biggest idiots . this is like ace attorney
Musk is being sued for falsely suggesting a 22-year-old Jewish man was part of a neo-Nazi brawl.
Elon Musk was deposed in a recent lawsuit for falsely linking a 22-year-old Jewish man to a neo-Nazi brawl. Musk, who attempted to keep the

????
oh my god
KILL HIM
he is DONE.
HELP ME .
wow. ok.
genuinely first two pages he says that he thinks ben’s lawyer is the one who is actually suing him and admits he has no clue what the lawsuit is about .
doing a reread now this is so cunty
goddamn .
fun fact: the Mr. Bankston here is Mark Bankston, the same lawyer who absolutely ruined Alex Jones during the Sandy Hook trial.
how in the fuck did the muskrat's attorney pass the bar
Mark Bankston is gonna make me fucking SWOON.
I don't think Mark can ever top "INDEED, MR. JONES, INDEED" and "AND THAT IS HOW I KNOW YOU LIED TO ME" from the first Sandy Hook trial in Texas (not to be confused with Chris Mattei, the attorney in the Connecticut trial), but this part
MR. SPIRO: Do you give these lectures at all of your depositions? MR. BANKSTON: I do, and you can watch them.
is ESPECIALLY hilarious to me having listened to multiple depositions Mark has had to take in the Sandy Hook case, where he has needed to lecture EVERY. SINGLE. ATTORNEY. at some point in the case about how they're violating Texas Rule XYZ, because they all, to a one, did something seriously ethically questionable during the deposition.
like, YOU CAN WATCH/LISTEN TO HIS DEPOS. HE DOES HAVE TO GIVE THOSE LECTURES EVERY TIME. IT'S NOT EVEN A JOKE.
The whole "the Old Magic actually sucks because material conditions have advanced" thing, but applied to cinematic martial arts. No, yeah, the legends are true, that move used to explode a man's entire skeleton, but you need to understand that people had more fragile bones back then. Poor nutrition, you see.
This five-point meridian strike is meant to make your head burst like an overripe melon, but it turns out it only works on people who have peripheral nerve damage from chronic vitamin B12 deficiency, which everyone did at the time it was developed. If you take your multivitamins it just makes your ears ring.
This is going to sound so stupid but as someone from a subtropical area, I struggle to fathom the climate of Britain. I’ve been doing a lot of research on the climate of southern Wales. What do you mean the temperature is usually between 34°f and 66°f? The record low is only -9.9°f and the record high is 98°f? I’m from a place where it is usually between 30° f and 90°f, the record low is -34°f and the record high is 110°f. My brain cannot comprehend the idea of a place that isn’t freezing in the winter and sweltering in the summer. No life threatening temperature seesaw? No tornadoes? No hail?
It just rains, mists and drizzles? Theres a little snow sometimes?
“What’s the weather like there?” “None, really.”
The Gulf Stream is the only thing making the UK liveable and once it's gone we're fucked
It is wild that modern humans began consistently inhabiting Britain around 12,000 years ago after the last Ice Age and modern humans began inhabiting Australia about 65,000 years ago and North America around 30,000 years ago. Britain was an uninhabitable sheet of ice until relatively recently in terms of human history and people have been fighting the weather and wildlife of Australia and the Americas far longer.
your honor i hate them
