but then when saul isnt being his boisterous self he can be a little charming. or endearing is maybe the word, because the absence of his phony charm is what makes him suddenly tolerable. skyler can look past the bright yellow billboard and see the man behind the man behind it. and hes kinda sweet. in the quiet dark when skyler and saul know it was a mistake and a one time thing in a desperate bid for connection, when they know once the sun rises theyll go back to being begrudging allies and nothing more, in the space between their hookup and the morning after, saul and skyler can allow themselves to talk freely. she smokes (jimmy aches). saul strips back for the first time in years and skyler sees a softer person. skyler appreciates knowing that walt is hurting everyone he interacts with, not just her. even the lawyer is sick of him. do you know how bad you have to be to have a lawyer sick of you? and one as flamboyant as saul?

my personal hcs for how marriage works with the Gerudo and the Sheikah is that the Gerudo don’t really do “marriage” in like the institutional sense. If you decide to spend your life exclusively with one person, it’s common to a celebration for that, but there’s nothing legally binding. The exception to this is the relationship between a chief and a king, as it is extremely ceremonial and grants the man authority to co-rule with his wife. Meanwhile the Sheikah do have marriage but bc they’re the Goth Tribe it’s always a very solemn and serious affair, with a lot of ritualistic and religious aspects.

So basically if Impa and Ganondorf ever got married, I think it would be an extremely private ceremony in a cave somewhere for the Sheikah side of things, followed up by a crazy desert rager bc Ganondorf is annoying and would want everyone back home to know he got married. They would not tell the Hylians though.
