"New Yorkers bite more people than sharks annually" is an excellent example of how statistics can be misleading. Like yeah no shit, do you have any idea how rare it is to even encounter a shark in the wild? They're not exactly urban animals. I'm pretty damn sure that if sharks were living in big cities like pigeons, just strolling down the streets looking for food scraps, you'd see a lot more news stories about New Yorkers biting them.

Dumb question from beginner artist: how does one identify undertones? Does anyone know a good resource for learning this or can someone explain it? I see the term and think I have an idea of the meaning but I have no idea which resources for this are good

Basically undertones refers to whether there’s a pinkish tint to the skin or a yellowish tint. These are charts you can find by googling “undertones chart” or whatever

Ultimately it’s kinda just up to practicing eyeballing colours. Keep a character’s undertone consistent between drawings and you should be good. And you can always google random faces and try some quick sketches for practice

i dont know how to articulate this well but some of you act like neurodiversity starts with adhd and ends with autism. you talk about "the neurodivergent experience" and everytime you mean "the overlapping experience of adhd and autism."

please remember us when talking about neurodiversity. ocd, dyslexia, dyscaculia, personality disorders, tourettes, intellectual disabilities, schizo-spec disorders, etc. all fall under neurodiversity.

The Facility is a critically important part here. See it’s a Science Facility. It’s run by a very shady clandestine organization, which is incredibly powerful. They’re maybe part of the government, or if not the government then something Illuminati-like.

As such The Facility is very high tech, and likely buried underground or hidden somewhere no normal person can access. The Torture being done is for Science, which the Facility is for. It’s all scientists in lab coats doing the torture. There is so much lab equipment and probably a lot of devices hooked up to the special character which will beep and go off the charts when the special character has a violent mind explosion. This part is important.
