Deck Edison: Deck Edison, (formerly Koehler and John) was formed by brothers Doug and Gabriel Koehler in 2008. Over the last 5 years they have developed a unique style of folk, new wave, 70s rock. The band formed when Doug, who was living in Nashville playing music with his brother Greg, married and moved home to Ohio. There he discovered a musical relationship with his younger brother Gabriel, who had been playing and teaching guitar. Together they found a natural blend of harmony and creative writing. The Inexperienced: The Inexperienced is the solo project of Jimmy Gregory. Based in New Wilmington, a rural town equidistant from Pittsburgh and Cleveland, he intertwines folk elements with midwest emo structure and sentiments. He is currently working on a series of releases after tirelessly performing the past year. BLOC Worship- A group of exceptionally talented young musicians, BLOC Worship is the house worship band for Bethel Life Student Ministries. More recently, the group has been experimenting with music other than their usual Sunday and Wednesday night worship sets.POSTS

Friend Records invites you out to the "Road Block Bash" on Friday, October 23rd, to see local musicians Deck Edison and The Inexperienced perform! For the past couple of months, a large chunk of Main Street has been closed to traffic because of a building in danger of falling down, temporarily crippling many of Main Street's businesses. In response, many business owners have worked in collaboration to create "The Road Block Bash": Every Friday night, a festival is held on the closed stretch of Main Street. Restaurants serve food, businesses set up outside, and sometimes they even have live music or movies. On October 23rd, Friend Records will present two of their artists in a free concert out side. We hope you will join us!

We had a great time at Friend Fest this year! We had seven bands: The Uriah Effect, Hannah List & Mike Giffone, Mr. Hanzo, The Inexperienced, Deck Edison, Wilhelm, and By Light We Loom, all split up between Fresh Grounds' stage and Sans MOCO. Over 50 people showed to support these great local musicians, and the bands themselves made an effort to get to know one another! Friend Records did relatively well, putting into circulation a few copies of Deck Edison's "Off The Edge Of The World" and Friend Records Compilation Vol. I. Overall, we had a successful night!
