S. snuffleupagus, a newly described species of fish, is named after the beloved Sesame Street character, Mr. Snuffleupagus, to which it bear
SNUFFLEUPAGUS REAL
Fantastic article!! The guys looking for it were fish researchers who saw it one time, knew instantly it was an undescribed species, and then tried for nearly 20 years to find and document it!
It's a type of ghost pipefish, related to seahorses, and it floats around coral reefs looking like a piece of algae and hunting unsuspecting prey
They are, of course, named after Snuffleupagus from Sesame Street!
Later on it the project, they got citizen science involved, and people across the Pacific started reporting sightings of snuffy fish from all over!
Hooray for science and hooray for S. snuffleupagus !
Is this anything?
Once a lecturer, while teaching on Ecclesiastes, said that when reading this verse we should never forget Isaiah 43:19, “Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”
There really is nothing new under the sun, but the Sun/Son came down to us, and He makes all things new.

cruel and unusual that in order to do something you have to begin
was anyone going to tell me that after beginning you then have to continue as well
one of the most boring lessons I’ve learned is that when a task feels overwhelming, you just have to start doing it. Even if you’re not sure how to do 90% of it, look for one small component that seems close and start there. Sometimes it’s reading one article on the topic, or searching one related term, or literally just googling how to do the task. Do anything other than thinking about it. The process of working on a thing inherently makes it less scary.
When you are working on a big, difficult piece of music: divide it up into sections, and tackle one at a time. Always, always helps.

The magic of childhood is that you were constantly encountering new things. The best way to feel that way again is to fill your life with new experiences.
My toxic trait is that if I find a product I like I want to keep using the same product forever. It's not even brand loyalty. It's called stop changing and discontinuing everything.
This is somewhere to be.

I think it's a sign of good media when you have to reread or rewatch it to get the full experience. First time is for getting your brain blasted by the story and being confused second time is for knowing who's who and what's what and willingly getting your brain blasted again.
People often associate peace with passivity. But we are told, "Blessed are the peacemakers." Not peacewanters, or wishers, or lie-around and keep-your-head-downers. 'Make' is a verb. To make something is to act. To create, assemble, build. We make friends, and build bridges. Yes, this is about Maia in The Goblin Emperor.
