Hello Children of the Night Here's a wave that I produced & engineered a few months back.

Sampled some Koopsta Knicca snippets and layered them with my instrumentation. Felt that the melodies were rather full, so I made sure to keep the percussive elements simple. Leaving room for the vocals, yet still hitting haaawrd.

I think it wouldn't be a terrible idea to consider reducing your online footprint. Is being selective of what you share about yourself leading to the addition of even more identity baggage? Do our survival instincts of seeking acceptance still neurotically float below the surface?

Vampire Friends

I've come to the realization that there is only one person in the totality of the world that is genuinely happy for me when something great happens in my life. My mum. 

Notice when telling your friends about something positive happening in your life, their smile and comments are positive, but their eyes tell you the opposite. Evidently, people don't want to see you succeed and sadly, it seems to hurt them knowing that they're not the only ones advancing in the 'game' called life. It's almost as if there is an energy stealing, an "energy vampirism" which I'm becoming more fine tuned to it.  I think that once you reach true happiness in your life and you find a sense of purpose, you'll have room to focus on others as opposed to just yourself. Or is it the other way around?

Fucking with the mix, nothing final. Bass guitar was absent. Experimented a bit with snare verbs. Infused bright verb with a fast release and a dark verb trailing a slow release. Multiband compression, noise FILT EQ fuck. It's all shit.

Consternation

When you're eating an animal from a factory farm, there's more than just the moral aspect of it that comes to mind. You're consuming an organism that's been stressed and sick for the totality of it's life. The meat is diseased, blanketed with malodorous ulcers. It's like being a cannibal and only eating cancer patients/concentration camp survivors because it's cheaper. You want to eat the kale blending, marathon running, yogi freak, not the sludgy, morbidly obese man going for a round deux at KFC.

This was a notably rudimentary arrangement. The sample & the drums were the main drives of the track. I used standard trap samples from standard trap kits. There was a bit of subtle volume & phase automation in adequate areas. Lastly, a few faint melodies were generated through vst’s to help thicken the melodic sample itself. Nothing too perplexing niqqqaz

Whipped this beat up awhile ago, but had it simmering in the oven for a good minute. An ambient track sampled & twisted from a video game my younger sis is always dominating in. Collaboration with Sir Realism from Sweden.  s/o s/0
