Hi, I'm 25 and debating starting male-to-female HRT. However, I'm scared that HRT won't help me at all. It seems like HRT does so little after puberty, especially by the time one gets in their 20s. I'm really scared that I'll just end up being someone in a male body, but with breasts. Is there anything you can say to someone having this fear? Thank you, and sorry, I suspect this is a silly question.
Actually, the claim that HRT doesn’t do much after puberty is a myth. I started when I was 31 years old and now I’m 35. =)
It’s never too late to transition!
Yeah, anon, have you seen my timeline? I started at 29.
It’s never too late.
Seriously, I transitioned at 39 and I’m 41 now. Hormones are magic whatever your age and while some things stay, many things change and it’s been totally worth it for me.
OMG!!! I love seeing posts like this. The hope it inspires. especially in girls like me, is unprecedented. Thank you!
Hope
I felt the same way before I started transitioning and especially because I have a fair masculine build. But you know what I’ve learned from my experience so far? Fuck it! There is always hope and you could end up surprising yourself with the results.
Just adding another voice to the barrage: It. Is. Never. Too. Late!
The top two pictures are from 2011, age 32. The bottom three are from this yeah, 2016, age 37, and (almost) 2 years on hrt. Hrt is magic.
Never.
Too late.
Look at these amazing and brave women!!!! A reminder to all my followers, it’s not too late!! You can do it!!!!!
This is what I needed to see in my day ☺️ I’m only 23 but I think about making this change on a daily basis and it’s been 3 years since I’ve been thinking that. Hrt is in my future (:
Look at all these gorgeous women! <3
Before I started T
And Now
I’m only 2 years in, and that picture of ‘now’ was actually a few months ago, my facial hair is growing in thicker now, [id share a picture but i recently shaved for work]. My facial structure seems more masculine now too and I’ve got enough manly hair on my body to barely recognize it anymore. Change even in your 20s, 30s, or later is possible. I was 24 when I started, Im 26 now.
As an atheist, putting my hand on the Bible and saying an oath before testifying to a court is less likely to get me to tell the truth than a pinkey promise
When my parents were fighting for custody, I was old enough to have a say, so they put me under oath to assure I was being honest with my feelings. Using my best serious face, knowing what was coming, when offered the bible to swear on, I requested to swear on the secretary’s hole punch, “because it’s far more honest. It says it’s going to punch a hole, and it does, best God I’ve seen today.” My mom buried her face in her hands, my dad sighed and rubbed his forehead. The judge almost choked on his water before telling the bailiff “find this young lady a hole punch!”

we need to stop doing litterary analysis....... like maybe kafka just litteraly turned into an insect who are we to tell him that he didnt
i think that might be analysis i'm so sorry :(
Via Twitter - thought this might be useful both places
I think the internet is connecting us in ways we’re not ready for because the other night a guy I went to school with who I haven’t seen on facebook in about a year made a status at 2am that just said “sick of these nightmares…”. Who could have predicted this is where technology would lead us in 2016. Live reports on the anguish of people on the absolute periphery of our lives. Nobody saw this coming. There’s no Jetsons episode where George gets a holo-call from a guy he hasn’t even thought about in three years saying “hey, I had the dream about the blood again…” and George says “hmm” and hangs up.

You heard that Jeff Bozos is going to space? Here's hoping the rocket explodes or the capsule decompresses with him in it.
imagine if elon musk went at the same time in another rocket and they crashed into each other
they need to start rereleasing old cars. like cars these days all follow some bland, amorphous, unremarkable design principles but if i could buy a car with like the body of an old, boxy, wood-paneled station wagon but with a modern engine and amenities? game over.
like i literally just want this but electric and with a bluetooth stereo
