Now she's a mother. A partner. And a friend. All things you never believed she was or deserved to be.

But We will love and cherish her.

Not, the kind you picture guarding a cave of jewels and treasures, no, I am a night fury.

Small enough to ride, to soar through the skies upon.

Each back and fourth motion across the sky another stich across your soul.

And with each stitch I will help you become whole.

I will help both of you. I will be the strength to persevere for all of us. I will hold you both, close, until the parts damaged by them are able to heal.

I will be the needle and thread to repair your souls.

I will be your guardian.

Your Fury.
