peanut butter dog treat recipe
2 ½ cups of wheat flour (all purpose flour also works but it wont be friendly for real dogs)
2 tablespoons of peanut butter
3-4 tablespoons of hot water
preheat oven to 177°C (350°F). the dough is gonna be sorta sticky so line your baking sheet with parchment paper
in a large bowl combine the flour and egg. add the peanut butter, water, honey and stir until you have a stiff dough. like i said the dough becomes very firm and sticky so you may need to use your hands
on a lightly floured surface roll out the dough and use a cookie cutter to shape them
bake for 18-20 minutes until golden. (if you have smaller cookies use less time or the bottom might burn)
combine the peanut butter and honey in a microwavable bowl and heat in the microwave in 15 second increments, stirring until melted
add the melted peanut butter mixture to the cornstarch and stir until combined
add in the water 1 tablespoon at a time until you reach the consistency that youd like (for a thinner frosting add more water)
add the frosting to a piping bag and pipe designs on each treat
