Next time I shoot this film, I’ll probably downrate it to 200. Everything’s a bit flat and not enough contrast at box speed. Dig this one though.
colour! this cheap film isn’t terrible. good to learn on.
also, I love my FM3A but I think I need more upper body strength. that mirror flip makes it feel like shooting a lil saturday night special rather than a camera. camera shake is my nemesis!
yonge & dundas
it’s good to learn on cheap film. Still love the pics, but the rookie mistakes like that scratch up there (for the love of god, don’t advance/wind so freaking fast when it’s -30 out! film is brittle! also your battery goes into hibernation; go fully manual, self) don't hurt as much.
oh yeah, and this roll was from my Downtown Camera mystery box. <3
Toronto is so monochromatic in February; hardly makes a difference to shoot in black and white versus colour. Come March, I’m loading up the Portra.
love me some tri-x
the interminable wait for my roll of Kodak 400TX to be developed/scanned leads to digging through these last few rolls of Ultramax--I like this shot more now than when I first got it back.
when you commit to a yearlong photography challenge, you commit, even if you don’t like all your efforts
oh hey lets do a thing for 2019
