can i put on a huge smile, like i'm so happy to see them?

currently thinking about how hugi didn't have someone like them to help them through muni's death. seeing them in their element a few episodes ago saying every perfect thing to help the people of rotglob through bub's death, and caring so deeply about the remembrance of this person they barely even knew. and now knowing that when they had that grief thrust upon them, there was probably no one there to help. seeing them burn out so heavily because they know that if they don't do their job, then someone could be in the position that they once were, so full of grief with no one to comfort them. that feeling that they have to keep going, even if they're struggling, so that they can provide that comfort that they had never been offered. just. fuck man.
