Since Halloween was just around the corner, person A thought it would be a good idea to visit a haunted house, much to B’s dismay. While person A enjoyed all things horror and spooky, B was quite the opposite.

While walking through the attraction, B clings desperately to A’s arm, seeking some form of protection. After countless jump scares and screams, the two of them emerge from the other side, B entirely wrapped in A’s arms. Maybe this was A’s plan all along…

The long process of fighting off dating accusations, only to think that maybe it wouldn’t be so bad. 

“Platonic” prom dates.

Putting them as your first emergency contact, only to realize their importance. 

Memorizing the shade of their eyes. 

Late-night, existential crises, and how you couldn’t do this with anyone else. 

Flowers on Valentine's Day. 

Little notes slipped into backpacks, pillow cases, on bathroom mirrors, lunchboxes. 

That kind of laughter that pinches your sides and leaves you breathless. 

A sour taste in your mouth, seeing them with someone else; additionally, realizing why that sour taste is there.
