The older Halfa has lead the pride for twenty years, but he was no match for a Halfa in the prime of his powers.

the former leader of the pride is so overwhelmed with the display of prowess that he cannot even muster the most rudimentary of displays. An ignominious end for the once regal halfa.

The best he can hope for is to survive at the edge of the pride, keeping away vultures and other hunters in exchange for the remains of meals that previously he was too noble to even consider.

A sad fate for the venerable Halfa.

And such is the way of the undead. Mysterious. Incredible. And cruel.

North sneaks a hand along to grab Danny's. He's being soft but affectionate...

His brows raised before he looked over... And he just smiled, allowing it. He tilted his head though as he looked at him.

"Sorry if it's cold... I tend to run cold."

His temperature was always extremely hypothermic compared to that of a human... With his core being that of ice.

"Ah, it gets warmer as we go, love." He seems to speak it...pretty straightforward, if in it's own British language-speak. His smile is there as he gently squeezes the hand.

"...heh...do you like me calling you that?"

"Getting a bit brave, are we?"

His hand did close around North's, however... He didn't mind it. He rather enjoyed the warmth living beings gave off.

He just stared at him for a few seconds before a snort and a laugh slipped out, covering his mouth as he looked away—

"I may look like grape bubble gum, but I can guarantee I most certainly do not taste like it—"

And he pulls back, blushing as he huffs. "The challenge was met. Goof...." he blushy timelord, trying to hide it even now. He liked that feeling, though, as much as he tries to hide it

"I can't imagine I taste very good—"

He did look amused, though—

"At least... Not to someone who's taste is probably largely human. I've heard I'm quite tasty to other Ghosts though."
