why are scissors packaged the way they are itâs like theyâre taunting us. Oh wow this is such a difficult awful packaging to get through that seems to cause physical damage to your hands as some sort of sick self defense mechanic, if only i had something to help get through it, something sharp perhaps
what sort of sick twisted game is it trying to play here

"i'm not triggered or upset by or even ideologically opposed to it, i just associate it with something so bad that i can't enjoy it anymore" is such a frustrating relationship to have with a piece of media
itâs covered in the fucking ooze!!

ANSWERED YES TO ALL TEN? CONGRATS, we've finally tracked you down your immortal life-sucking bastard. Hunters of the Order will descend on your lair imminently, since you weren't even using a VPN
I hate what's happened to the word "triggered" because a lot of people are Not very good at realizing when they're having a PTSD response and end up lashing out at strangers on the internet about it and even when you recognize that this is happening to someone else there is not a lot of language that can allow you to compassionately make them aware of what's happening without sounding like you're accusing them of being irrational and flipping out over nothing
I hadnât seen one of these yet
Sometimes itâs so hard being a fan of Illyana Rasputin because I think sheâs a really fascinating character and also in my heart I know sheâs a lesbian and her backstory to me reads heavily as an allegory for CSA and then comic book artists will draw her in the most male-gazey-skintight-leather-titty-window-thigh-gap way with zero consideration for that

reading the wiki for the american psycho movie every single thing itâs saying about christian bale has me in tears âŠâŠ.. he literally wanted the role so bad he got that buff in two weeks, rejected every other offer for 9 months while the producers tried to get dicaprio to be patrick bateman bc bale knew dicaprio would chicken out, went to dinner with the director and the guy who wrote the novel IN CHARACTER apparently scaring the shit out of the novelist, took the role for $50k, and then made all his costars think he was a giant freak bc he never fucking broke character, and APARENTLY LITERALLY HAS CONTROL OVER HIS SWEAT GLANDS AND USED THIS IN THE BUSINESS CARD SCENE
ok thanks for the info wiki
Hey Paul!
It brings me comfort that, for a brief moment, Jared Leto genuinely believed Christian Bale was going to kill him with an axe
but there actually are some social cues that can be taught. like the obvious one is when someone says âhow are youâ they usually mean âfriendly noiseâ and are not actually asking how you are, although some people ARE genuinely asking how you are and itâs usually up to the context of your relationship to determine the difference
also that apparently âwhen you get a chanceâ usually means âwhen you take a break from the thing youâre immediately doingâ and not âon a list among various other things you are doing today or tomorrowâ
and when someone says âiâll let you get goingâ they mean âplease leaveâ
oh and you have to learn to weaponize âthank you for your understandingâ. which means âthere is nothing you can do about this so accept itâ
i wish people in fandom spaces wouldn't couch the (alleged) crimes of creators in such vague terms. "Gaiman is controversial right now" NO, Gaiman has been accused of rape by several women. "DC probably won't reprint a lot of 90s green lantern because Gerard Jones is problematic." NO, Gerard Jones was convicted of possession of child pornography. "controversial" and "problematic" do not accurately convey what is going on remotely and if anything play down what these people have done.
sorry I saw a post about AAVE and got fired up and had to make this
Yes! Yes! Yes!
Also include all accents.
Like the way people exaggerate the 'Indian accent' is so horribly racist
indian english is actually its own fully robust dialect of english, over 250 million people in india speak english and the language has been used for official communication in india for over 150 years. it has its own phonological rules and unique vocabulary!
other "accents" like mexican-american english are also full dialects with native speakers, and not just by people who haven't fully learned english as people often assume. but india is literally the country with the second most english speakers in the world!
