I don’t have all the right words for this but there’s something the divide in the early supernatural seasons and the later seasons where …it’s not the writers changing but it’s the aging up of Dean and Sam. The American Story of young men pulled from their lives and trained into self sacrifice and violence. Incapable of having relationships or holding down roots anywhere. Hurting themselves and others to impress and live up to John who pulls them into the same self destructive cycle he’s sold himself to. All of it leading to the end of the world.
Compared then to them living longer than they even thought they would. It changes the story completely. It’s like growing up and thinking you’re inevitably going to walk off the edge of the world only to find that it’s round. You get to 30 and then 40. And do you ever grow out of being that young man who’s already given up his life? There’s so many things here that no writer even had any idea was happening with the story but it happened anyway underneath everything. They never escape that narrative they’re never able to escape the traps set for them at age 10. Supernatural is truly a 15 season long tragedy.
Fem! Castiel
Guys he’s lost can someone help him
This was a study but then it got funky
you're laughing??? supernatural gave cas the brokeback mountain truck and dean the brokeback mountain jacket and you're laughing??????
Im not laughing. I'm crying actually
"I could go with you" 💙
Castiel in Supernatural season 4
tried to match the vibe of the older seasons
old (like oct 2025) study collage wip i still want to finish but its on my sadlonely ipad i dont use anymore so god knows when....anyways i still like it as is so im putting it here Just imagine it finished And it looks really good.
I’d never let cas go if he came back from the empty and neither would dean 😌
just an idea i had while workin on other stuffs

oh my god
if dean had an erectile dyfunction would cas know
no his angel powers don't work like that
he knows because his heart is big <3
would cas bring it up
no he has changed over the years and respects dean's privacy
yes it's part of the foreplay
i miss s5 cas he was so bitchy and intense and badass and autistic. he never blinked and he talked to dean from 3 inches away and he was rebelling against heaven and he branded enochian on his friends ribs and he found a liquor store and he drank it and he absolutely wrecked shop in knife fights and he carved banishing sigils into his own chest and he called raphael his bitch and he ate a million cheeseburgers and he never understood references and i love him so so so much <3
they wanna hold hands so bad. Embarrassing
This is basically one of those 'almost kiss' scenes where they get so close and both are clearly thinking about it but they pull away last second
too tired to make the whole post but. theres an au in my head where john is the one to break into sam's house and take him back into the hunting world to look for dean, who's on a hunting trip and hasnt been home in a few days. they yell at each other and almost physically fight countless times and sam hates him SO much, but he stays, he has to stay, he has to do this for his brother. its only at the end of season 1 that we learn dean actually died right before the pilot, and john's been pretending he didn't know so he could keep an eye on sam without him running away. their biggest argument happens when sam finds out, and when he's finally about to leave, john makes a deal with azazel to resurrect dean.
season 2 then starts with a sam that has to process all of this, explain to his freshly back from the dead brother everything that happened the last year and, finally, ask HIM. "what happened one year ago ?"
@pinkfloydguy what the fuck
