🌘HeiZuha Week 2026: "Seven Worlds, One Eclipse"🌒
August 10th until August 16th!
Welcome to this year's HeiZuha-Week, where we want to come together and create one or more special pieces about our favorite couple!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
The same couple seven times over - in seven different worlds - seven AUs. And in some of them, the sun goes dark.
On the evening of August 12, 2026, a total solar eclipse crosses the North Atlantic — total over Iceland, northern Spain and the Balearics, and a deep partial eclipse across Europe. Parts of North America get a partial view too, from Alaska across Canada down to the northeastern U.S. — and it coincides with the peak of the Perseids.
That image runs through the whole week as an optional bonus challenge: the AU prompts stand on their own, and anyone who likes can work the eclipse moment in as well! (If you manage to include it in all your works for the week, you'll have told the same scene in different ways!)
🌌"Seven Worlds, One Eclipse"
On the day the sun went dark, two souls looked up at the sky…
Instead of individual days, you can make one contribution spanning the whole week: a story that travels through several settings, an illustration series, a multi-chapter fic, a comic where the same moment looks different every time.
Whatever carries the idea of these two under a darkening sky. What magic might happen during a solar eclipse? Real or just superstition, who knows?

🏰Day 1: Mon Aug 10 — Fairy Tale🧚♀️
Take a fairy tale and rewrite it around the couple. Who's who — and who's actually rescuing whom here?
e.g.: Sleeping Beauty, The Frog Prince, Tanabata, Kaguya-hime, reversed roles
🌘 Eclipse: as a curse or a prophecy
🎨 parchment cream, ink blue, gold
🏚️Day 2: Tue Aug 11 — Dystopia⛓️
A world on the brink. They're fighting for their lives — or for the scrap of normalcy that's left.
e.g. the last people alive, a surveillance state, scarcity, a promise as the only thing holding on, Zombie Apocalypse
🌘 Eclipse: as a threat — or a rare moment of stillness
🎨 rust brown, concrete grey, one single spot of color
⚔️Day 3: Wed Aug 12 — Fantasy & Magic ✨ Eclipse Day
Swords, curses, rituals. Him the warrior, her the priestess — or the other way around entirely.
e.g.: a mage academy, the omamori as a real artifact, a curse only the two of them can break
🌘 Eclipse: the day the sun disappeared. Rituals, portals, magic unleashed
🎨 deep violet, emerald, glowing gold
⛩️Day 4: Thu Aug 13 — Historical🏮
Back in time. Edo period, samurai and miko, the Meiji upheaval — or a Western setting.
e.g.: a forbidden engagement, years of letters, two families in conflict
🌘 Eclipse: as a divine sign that brings everyone to their knees
🎨 indigo, vermilion, sepia
☕Day 5: Fri Aug 14 — Everyday AU🏙️
Nothing supernatural, no cases. Just: who would they be as ordinary people?
e.g.: café owner & regular, neighbors, bandmates, coworkers
🌘 Eclipse: completely mundane — two people on a rooftop with protective glasses
🎨 warm beige, denim blue, houseplant green
🚀Day 6: Sat Aug 15 — Sci-Fi / Space🪐
Stars, ships, distant planets. Two people very far from home.
e.g.: pilot & navigator, a colony on the edge, radio contact as the only link, time dilation, far distant relationship
🌘 Eclipse: an alien sun, an alien moon, a shadow across the planet
🎨 blue-black, neon cyan, starlight white
🌈Day 7: Sun Aug 16 — Free AU / Wildcard🌈
Your world, your rules. Whatever you couldn't fit in all week.
e.g.: soulmate AU, bodyswap, superheroes, pirates — anything goes
🌘 Eclipse: your world, your eclipse
🎨 your choice — or every color of the week mixed together
Everything is welcome: fanart, fanfiction, edits, moodboards, poetry, playlists, cosplay — whatever you make.
No pressure to do all seven. A single day counts just as much as the full week.
