Khadgar could appreciate that Lotharâs mind was worn from the day and drawn to other things beside the important knowledge Khadgar was piecing together from his research, but the man would not stay still. He was prowling around Khadgar like it was the most entertaining game he had ever played as he reached for Khadgar and the mage had to deftly avoid his hands as he continued his pacing.
â- best executed with the runes laid out perpendicular to one another in a- ah, ah, ah!â Khadgar waggled a finger of his free hand as he gave a wide sidestep to dodge Lotharâs arms reaching to encircle his waist, âThis is important, Anduin, just let me finish this chapter.â
Lothar was grinning and gave no indication that he had heard Khadgar beyond the fact that he had ears and last Khadgar checked they were in working order. He unrepentantly drew his hands back and moved to follow the step away Khadgar had taken, but at least for a few moments he was blessedly letting Khadgar continue reading.
âAs I was saying: in a pattern not dissimilar to those used in the Rune of Power, however the combination of energies used here can- ngk!â Khadgarâs book clattered from his hand as his back arched, one warm hand of Lotharâs pinned to his waist and the other making itself acquainted unashamedly with the round cheek of his rear. In shock at the startling suddenness of Lothar being behind him and abruptly touching him, Khadgarâs hand reached back to grip the manâs wrist. It didnât stop him gasping as Lothar squeezed firmly and hummed, appreciative of the wealth of soft flesh he found there. âAnduin!â Khadgar yelped in reprimand. It wasnât very effective.
âI caught you, spell chucker,â Lothar murmured, victorious as he pressed himself closer against Khadgarâs back. His hand continued itâs explorative kneading as Khadgar flushed and squirmed in his grasp, not unaffected by the rough edged man holding him still.
The book at his feet had landed on itâs back, spine parted and a few chapters ahead of where Khadgar had been reading, but heâd be able to find his place again easy enough. He pushed back into Lotharâs hands, reaching over his shoulder with his other hand to tangle in Lotharâs hair and urge him to bury his face in Khadgarâs neck. Lothar needed no further encouragement, his mouth already parted as his teeth were the first to greet the mageâs skin. A tongue soothed the marks and worried skin Lotharâs teeth left as Khadgar tipped his head back against the shoulder behind him for more.
âYes,â Khadgar hummed, âYou did,â Lotharâs hand tightened on his arse and Khadgarâs breath hitched at the possessive dig of fingers into his skin. Lotharâs playfulness was contagious and Khadgar couldnât resist teasing him just a little, âI suppose the question is; what do you intend to do with me?â
Khadgar did not get to retrieve his book until the late morning of the next day, pleasantly exerted and a dull twinge when he sat that only made him smirk.
