In celebration of a 5th or 6th century Christian saint, who has been adopted by both the Uranian Love Movement of the 19th century (gay rights) and the BDSM community as their unofficial patron saint. Saint Sébastien est dépeint comme un jeune homme attaché à une colonne et transpercé de flèches par des soldats romains.

L'œuvre est liée au copiste Johannes de Bomalia, actif entre 1434 et 1478.

Inspired by Saint Sebastian, a saint and martyr who was a Roman soldier but secretly converted to Christianity and supported persecuted believers🏹

I think everyone has seen the paintings of him pierced by arrows at least once, but I don't know if you all know that wasn't the cause of his death! Despite being riddled with arrows, they didn't actually kill him, he was rescued and healed by Saint Irene of Rome!👏🏼👏🏼 (and then he was killed anyway because otherwise he couldn't have been a martyr)

That's why this lady doesn't give a fuck about being wounded, it takes much more effort to hurt her!
