the original artwork was from- oh boy- june 17th, 2024! it was one of my first few ever 2012 leoichi drawings! i can't believe it's been well over a year since i started drawing this ship, it feels like yesterday i was first introduced to it 🥹

back when i had no idea how to draw usagi's bangs LMAO but honestly who does, i still don't draw his bangs canon-accurate

my artstyle has changed a lot, i think. i've gotten a lot more comfortable and consistent in how i draw. my anatomy has improved too... i like to think. anyways, here's the old 2024 drawing!

i do prefer how much space the old art takes up, but... whatever

ruby and sapphire was like one of if not the first lgbtq ship i was introduced to, and i think they fit quite nicely as leoichi
